Kings Gyro

Okay... being from Chicago this food is excellent! Way better than Pita King or Taziki's!Mom and Pop owned. Very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. This place is so clean you can literally eat off the floor! Run over and give them a try!!

This mom and pop shop is delicious. The service is friendly and fast and the food is great. You can pick your ingredients for the gyro sandwich. The servers have a sense of urgency which I appreciate. During the lunch rush, there wasn't a place to sit as all the tables were full, but we only had to wait a few minutes for someone to leave. Would definitely come back!

This is a lovely mom and pop shop with amazing food! The gyro meat was perfectly cooked. The people running the store were kind and attentive. I wish I had taken a picture of the beautiful gyro I had but I couldn't stop eating! I will be back!

In a nutshell, this is a small family business in a strip shopping hole in the wall serving up terrifically delicious gyros. Not much to look at from the outside, and not much to look at from the inside.A sea of parking spaces out front of the strip. A handful of tables close together, so it could easily get packed when busy, but they seem to do a good amount of to go business. Very friendly and efficient. Got the feeling they personally know a good number of their regulars. I can see why there are a lot of regulars. The gyro sandwich was absolutely delicious. Overflowing with a generous pile of crunchy deeply flavorful gyros meat accompanied by whatever veggies you would like. The lettuce was a little brown, but not so much that I was bothered nor tempted to pull off any pieces. Kings will be the first place I think of when I'm in the mood for a local gyro, so overlooking any little flaw in the place or the food, because a neighborhood business like this deserves all the love.

I tried this spot recently via delivery. The food was still hot when I got it, which was great. The gyro meat was plentiful, but a bit too greasy for my liking. The chicken soup lacked flavor and was watery. The fries were great, but heavily salted/seasoned. Overall I would come back and try a salad and chicken dish. Maybe it was an off day.

Absolutely love this place. I've come here several times for lunch and I'm always satisfied. The people who work here are lovely and attentive and always make me feel good. I normally get the fish platter which comes with rice and salad and a piece of bread. It does take a little bit longer to prepare than some of the other food but it is definitely worth it. It's fantastic. The restaurant is a quaint eatery in typical diner fashion. If you are looking for some scrumptious Greek food that is fast and fairly cheap, try out King's Gyro. You will not be disappointed.

Food was SO good! I'll be coming back 100%. I ended up purchases the classic Gyro plate and only ate half. Food was cooked fresh right in front of you! This was a little hole in the wall type of place. When I first walked in, the store was pretty busy! However from the time I walked in to stand in a long line, to the time I sat down with my food was less than 10 min!As I watched the line of people coming, everyone was friendly with the staff as if they were regulars. The owners went out of their way to show me their menu, and were very sweet. Someone even went out of their way to bring me a to go bag for my food that I didn't finish. Overall, I liked that it was a quick service type of restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

Husband and wife owner/operator team make excellent food. Great service and great portions. We stop by when we are in the area and bring home our order. I love the gyro dinner. My bf loves the Philly cheesesteak. Their seasoned fries are fantastic!

Omg! The food is so good and the staff is so kind and friendly. They have the best falafels! I absolutely love them! They have excellent baklava as well. The environment is a very simple and casual one, but not at all unpleasant. Would definitely recommend.
