Came here for a group dinner during the week. It's located in a large shopping center with very ample parking. The restaurant itself is incredibly spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. If you came here thinking you were going to get bomb seafood, please redirect yourself elsewhere. I tried the charbroiled salmon, which was very underseasoned, overcooked, and burnt to a black char at the bottom. The portion was very slim - I expected more salmon on my plate than mashed potatoes, but the reverse was true. Nothing here tasted restaurant grade. The caesar salad was standard with freshly shaved Parmesan and croutons. Warm sourdough served with salted butter slapped. The key lime pie and chocolate cake are average at best, nothing to brag about. I was pretty dissatisfied and left hungry, but not every spot can be a win!

My family & I have been here a few times over the years because the food never disappoints (& I have some picky eaters in my family) lol but today we had the most wonderful service on top of the already delicious food! Anthony gave us really interesting fun facts about the origin of some of the foods on top of getting into detail about some of the flavors we were expecting with new dishes. You can tell he enjoys what he does & wanted to connect with us. What an amazing experience, we will definitely request him in the future 10/10

Came in for Mother's Day and surprised this place was not packed nor had a wait outside. We got seated in as soon as we checked in, though we had reservations, inside was only about 3/4 full and the outside dining area was only 5-10% filled. Parking is ample as it is located in a large plaza. Ambiance is good as the music is not overpowering so you can have a conversation without yelling at each other. They came out with sourdough bread and whipped butter which was surprisingly pretty good.We ordered:Bowl Clam Chowder-this was a bit disappointing, a soup should be served with a soup spoon and not a teaspoon. This was a bit salty; it was creamy and was loaded with potatoes and did not see any clams at all unlike other restaurants. For an establishment that specializes in seafood, I was quite disappointed and will not order this dish and do not recommend it to anyone.Beer Battered Fish and Chips-not what I was expecting as the portion to other restaurants was way more than what they serve here and did not equate to how much you pay. It was not even crispy and the inside batter was a bit raw and uncooked. If the batter was cooked a bit more and not mushy then this dish would be ok and recommend but it was not so this is a big down for the famous fish and chips.Farmed BC Atlantic Salmon-this was the first to get devoured so I am assuming it was good and the garlic mashed potatoes was the perfect pair as well.Wild Pacific Yellowfin Tuna- was ok and just ok but then again corn as a side??? The asparagus was fresh and crispy so it was cook properly.Louie Salad-good portion but nothing to wow about as the dressing was a bit different and did not have the feel for the shrimp salad.Kids Burger- my kid liked it and it looked appealing as well as appetizing.Appetizer:Crispy Calamari-the serving was pretty large however, for the price you pay it should have been a bit more. The sauce was not your traditional tartar sauce but a sweet and sour and the orange sauce was a bit spicy. Please give other options on sauce.King's Crab Cakes-this was good as well and like again for the price you pay there should have at least been more than just two pieces. The sauce was a bit spicy but the cake alone by itself was good.Bottom line is that this was a bit disappointing for a restaurant to special in seafood and Joe's Crab Shack it better tasting, better service and priced just right in reference to the party they give unlike this place. Overpriced, service is slow and subpar but most notably of all the dishes we tried on the Salmon would be recommend.Overall I have mixed feelings about this place and if it were up to just me, I do not recommend this place as there are far way better places to go to for fish and chips, clam chowder and tuna. This explain on a holiday that the place is half empty while the other restaurants across from this establishment and in the plaza are packed solid.

Just not as good as the Chilean. Wife had the clams and pasta. 10/10 her favorite dosh and score. Deep broth and comforting. The Brussel sprouts are to die for please get them! Great mac n cheese as well 10/10 sprouts 8.8/10 mac n cheese.Update 5-12-24. We came back for lunch. Iyster menu was different than yesterday. Went here to celebrate my Birthday. While the place isn't cheap, the food is good for the money. Last time I came here I really enjoyed trying different kinds of oysters. While they are not as inexpensive as those oyster happy hours at some places, it's great to be able to try so many different kinds. I always find some kinds that I really enjoy. I just need to keep better track of which ones I really like in the future so I can order those ones again. The Sushi was tasty and the old fashioned drink with 4 Roses small batch was decent too. I got lobster as the main course, but we also enjoyed some tasty chicken wings etc.Service was ok. Environment is decorated in the typical seafood decor. Not too noisy, and a good place to dine. It is located near the mall. Parking around the restaurant can get crowded but both times I have gone I managed to find a space too far away.

I have been here many times and we keep coming back because the food is always good. We like to order their oysters, they are absolutely tasty and hit the spot when we are craving good oysters. The sourdough bread is so good, we always order multiple loafs. Our last visit there was to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were seated right away and started the evening with a dozen oysters, wings, and a lobster sushi roll. My husband ordered a large lobster from the tank and I had the sirloin steak with a lobster tail with 2 sides of cauliflower and asparagus. Everything was cooked just right and the portions were a good size. We also got a free birthday dessert, we ordered the cheesecake...so good. The cocktails are also very good, I ordered a agave sting and an old fashioned drink. The reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is because service is hit or miss. The last person that served us, Raquel, was unfriendly and grouchy the whole time she was waiting on us, it was hard to try to talk with her because she seemed like she didn't want to work there. And she would disappear for a long period of time, delaying our food and drink order.Overall, we will come back hopefully to better service.
