King Salmon

This place is a must for sushi lovers. You just can't beat half price sushi rolls... plus they are amazing quality. The staff is super friendly and helpful.I don't remember the names of all the rolls that we tried but I was not disappointed in even one.The place isn't huge so go early, there is not a lot of seating.Whenever you're in the area give them a try.

My daughter and son in law were in town from Colorado . Last year we went to King Salmon after a trip to the Japanese gardens just minutes away.This time my wife joined us for dinner. It was her first time eating sushi. Since she is a vegetarian they had enough choices for her to choose from. We started off with a couple of appetizers. Veggie spring rolls and Gyoza (fried pork dumplings). A nice start to the main attraction. My wife ordered a Zucchini roll and Asparagus roll. She Prefered the Asparagus roll but both were good. My daughter , son in law and I figured that a six pack of sushi was they way to go. We ordered the following . SOS, Sunshine, Fire Dragon, Arizona, Central, Green Lake. Our consensus was everything was great. We deemed Fire Dragon our favorite. Now that my wife can find some options , I hope to make it back to "The King" more than once in a year.

Pleasantly surprised! We came in here last night with no reservation for a party of 6. We were sat immediately. All of their rolls are 50% off -- I ordered the Arizona Roll (crab mix, seared Hamachi, jalapeño and hot sauce on top) and the I Love Salmon Roll (crab mix, salmon on top with a lemon slice and hot sauce). The salmon roll was DIVINE -- exactly what I love and the fish tasted fresh and melted in my mouth. The Arizona Roll was okay -- a little fishy and overall not my favorite. My sister and dad ordered sashimi -- yellowtail and salmon. Both enjoyed their sashimi. My boyfriend got the Lion King and enjoyed it as well. Our food came out very quickly! I noticed lots of people coming in for take out orders too. Super excited to have found a sushi spot that has great rolls with great prices. Will definitely be back.

While this place isn't as visibly fancy and downtown as my other favorite sushi spot, the prices here during their happy hour are unbeatable, especially for the quality. I love their hand rolls, especially the unagi and the spicy scallop. They have all the classic and specialty rolls you would want. I never feel like the fish is too fishy. Besides their great value, my other favorite thing about this place is their location. Easy parking, close to the light rail, and practically next door to a great place to grab a drink (Kings) that lets you bring in your own food. Taking sushi from here to the bar is a perfect, surprisingly cheap date night.

Saw on instagram they had 50% off rolls soo we knew we had to go and try it. We got the Arizona, central and Pacifica and they were all so amazing. I've honestly never had a such a great deal on sushi here in Phoenix and sushi that is actually good too! Place is cute and the servers were super sweet and had their own recommendations which I I loved! We will definitely be returning next week.

I come to King Salmon for take out regularly and it's some of the best shopping mall sushi I've had. For AZ, the fish quality is great. The deal they have for half off rolls M-F cannot be beat! Their spicy veggie roll is my favorite veg roll at the moment. The hamachi avocado hand roll and Saguaro roll are also delicious as well as the edamame, egg rolls, and potstickers.The staff are always really nice and my orders are usually ready in 15 minutes or less. The restaurant itself is small but cute - I would totally dine in sometime for hh.

In the mood for sushi or other Japanese treats at a reasonable price? King Salmon is a solid choice to satisfy your desires. Located in the heart of Central Phoenix in the former Lenny's location, this place is a Valley Metro Rail ride away. We visited this establishment for dinner on a Wednesday, and we were seated right away. The host was very amicable and the waiter was as well. I expected the dining room to be warm, as the kitchen is open concept, however it was pleasant enough to enjoy a meal. We ordered the takoyaki, chicken karaage, and 3 rolls. The chicken karaage was crispy and juicy and the 3 rolls were decently sized and prepared very well. The food came out very quickly although most of the tables were occupied.I definitely recommend this hidden gem if you are in midtown and want some sushi and other Japanese delights!

Delicious sushi ! The chicken & dumplings were also incredible. The sushi tasted super fresh I ended up ordering more. The people working here are awesome and very polite ! The vibe in here is just so calm & peaceful. I will be coming here a lot more. Definitely on my Top 3 sushi spots in Arizona

This is my go to place to get sushi. The fish are always fresh and they have tons of great sushi options to try. Simply the best!
