Never expected that the clay pot rice is so good as I usually come here for the soup noodle. Lots of toppings and cooked so quickly that still has crispy rice at the bottom! Big portions of food.As a restaurant in Chinatown it is quite clean and the staff are friendly. Don't miss this hidden gem and it's easy to get a table.

I'm a personal Chef that just moved to Chinatown on Tuesday 2/20. There was a celebration today 2/24 and I thought it would be nice to get some noodles on my way home. I googled "Best Noodles" near where I live which is 2 blocks away. 4 restaurants came up. Gourmet Noodle Bowl, King Noodle, Jufen Noodle House, and Mike's Noodles. I was on foot and on King Street which has Mike's and King's. Mike's has (982) reviews and 4.3 stars and King's has (520) 4.2 stars.Normally I would go where there are more reviews so Mike's but I was on King's side of the street so I choose them. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! When I walked in there was a lady on her phone texting or whatever and NEVER looked up to say hi, welcome in, are you dining in or carry out? I should have turned around at that point and walked out! But I'm hungry, tired, and was already there. I grabbed a menu and looked at it for about 5 minutes because I make noodles myself and thought about what I would try that's different from what I make. I choose Szechuan Style Beef and according to the menu it says "Mixed Noodles (with soup on the side) $12.49. I told women I was ready to order and she then asked if I was dining in or taking out. I said take out. It's super cold in Seattle today this just happened about 25 minutes ago and it's 6:18 PM and temperature is 49°. Soup with my noodles sounds PERFECT. I place the order she says nothing else, some guy takes my debit card and charges me 14.32 and I rounded it to 16.00. I didn't leave much because I wasn't dining in. A few minutes later he hands me a bag and I walk out the door. I got 10 steps out and thought "my bad sure was light" so I turned around and went back inside grabbed a menu to make sure I wasn't crazy or dumb. It says (with soup in the side) $12.49. So I ask him where the soup was. That's when this woman takes herself off MUTE and says "Only soup if you dine in." So I asked guy for my credit card slip back and scratched out the tip and rewrote 14.32 and I asked her where does it say that on the menu or in the restaurant? She said "we don't have it on anything." I then said, "You are being selfish, cheap, or Lazy! I really wanted the soup and you could have put it in a TO-GO container!" I did not give them ANY time to reply I left and will NEVER come back! I'm going to contact Wells Fargo and dispute 5.00 of the 14.32 because I WANTED what they advertised SOUP ON THE SIDE! Wells Fargo is good about disputes and I will get 5.00 charged back! IT'S NOT THE MONEY it's the principle. Also look at photo...no soy sauce, container wasn't even filled with the noodles, there was way more noodles to meat ratioWe the CUSTOMERS are tired of YOU restaurants being PETTY! You should have offered me the Soup, or just given it to me! I should have gone to Mike's! Next time a customer walks in the door lady get your face out of your phone and look up! RUDE!(misleading restaurant don't order takeout from here...better yet don't even go here!)

I love noodles, and King Noodle hits the noodle and soup spot for me.The restaurant is small- it has 9 metal tables crammed into a cozy space, and you can see the kitchen through a small window in the back. I've only ever seen the same man working there; he is quiet but friendly and efficient. When you walk in, you'll be pounted to an empty table. The server (the aforementioned man) will bring utensils, water, and a half sheet of paper. This paper is your menu and order form. I like to get the pork and vegetable dumplings, pan fried, of course, and a bowl of soup. The menu/order form def felt overwhelming my first time there. There are no pictures or descriptions of any of the items. I have since learned that- you can't really go wrong with any of your choices. My noodle order of choic is usually something like- original soup, noodles (yep, one of the noodle option is just "noodles" among choices like "flat rice noodle" and "udon"), cabbage, beansprouts, wontons, and another meat or vegetable. I got roast duck the most recent time. This gets me a large bowl full of delicious and filling food. I love the texture of the cabbage and beansprouts against the perfectly tender noodles. I have not had their rice bowls, but they come out sizzling and seems to be a favorite amonst the regulars. I got there around 11:50AM on a week day last time, and noticed I was just ahead of a rush that came in around noon. Turnover seems pretty fast though, so I wouldn't let a full restaurant or a large crowd deter you.

Came for lunch here. It was quite busy but we got a table for two pretty quickly. This place reminded me of Japan in terms of efficiency (in and out). Eat your soup and head out. I loved the build your own soup option and chose wonton with BBQ pork with sichuan(?) broth! It was pretty spicy and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bowl of soup, service was fast and to the point.

Born in the US. European descent. I had previously tried pork intestine and detested it. Their menu had some kind of marinated pork intestine, and I like to push myself and give things a second chance. It is a battle of the ages.I was able to eat most of the intestine this time. The first time I tried it elsewhere, I ate one slice and was finished. I don't know what King Noodle marinated it in, but it was decent. The main thing was of course the soup. The main important thing to me is how good is the broth? I thought it was very enjoyable.

Stopped in for a late lunch, my other half wanted to eat stone pot rice..he ordered the slice pork and Chinese sausage rice bowl, I ordered Chinese flat rice noodle soup ( haw fun) with beef tripe and duck with a fish broth and Napa cabbage,.This was the first time I ordered this broth. We also ordered pan fried dumplings with pork and chives. The noodle soup 5/5. The.broth was delicious, very memorable! Generous amount of tripe tooThe stone pot rice dish 3/5. Rather bland. Not what he remembers. The dumplings were okay. Lots of meat filling, but I thought too much chives. The chives overpowered the meat. Not a good balance . We are happy this restaurant survived the COVID 19 pandemic, it was 6 years since our last visitRecommend this restaurant, especially for their noodle soups, you can customize your order choose from a large selection of toppings, broths, noodles veggies, etc

Generous portions for its price especially for the Congee. We were visiting Seattle, and we went 2/5 days because my friends loved it and wanted to go back. Parking was easy to find, food was good and quick to be served. Good local Chinese Noodle House.

I came here while looking for noodles in International District. Immediately after walking in, I noticed that it was pretty hot in the restaurant. However, it was not too cramped inside and reasonably clean. My group ordered three noodle soup bowls with various toppings and soup bases. The server was very friendly, and even gave us some recommendations. While the portion sizes were good, food overall left a little to be desired. For our soup bases we got the hot and spicy, Szechuan, and the tom yum with the QQ noodles. we found that the soups, with the exception of the tom yum, were not flavorful enough for our tastes. Also, the QQ noodles were very smooth and did not absorb or add to the soups. I personally got the duck meat in my noodles, and I thought it was pretty dry and lacking flavor as well. tl;dr while the service was fast & friendly I would not return for the food
