King Crab Cajun Seafood Boil Restaurant

Arrived here 30 minutes to close. I actually made reservations online, but when we arrived we were told that we could only take out. We ordered the crab shrimp special, w/their special sauce (combination of all sauces no spice). They shrimp came headless & deveined w/shell. I prepare my shrimp the same way (but w/head on, more flavor) so I knew the shrimp would be flavorful. Shrimp was not overcooked. The crab legs were smaller in size but for the price point not complaining. Food was excellent and will be definitely coming back if we're in town.Customer service despite closing time was on point. Super friendly and attentive to questions. Giving this place an easy 8.5 out of 10. Look forward to coming here again. Definitely a must try.

Very spacious establishment with lots of seating, even for large parties! The service was pretty good, with the waitstaff constantly checking and making sure we were doing okay.The food was good, but it could have used more flavoring. The Combo E along with the 1lb King Crab was a good portion for two of us! I tried the non-alcoholic piña colada, and I really wish I hadn't!! It was extremely and unevenly icy, with a very syrupy flavor. Not my top choice for seafood boil, but not a bad one either.

Today's meal is so deep in my heart, San Diego is by the sea, it's rare to get fresh and delicious seafood .I went at lunch time, I didn't drink because I had to drive, otherwise it would have been really beautiful with seafood combo. I think it's better to come in the evening, when friends and family are eating and drinking and chatting with each other and enjoying the sea breeze, the ambience is really happy and beautiful! We chose the King Crab Jumbo Combo, which contains snow crab legs, mussels, fresh prawns, langoustines corn, potatoes... very clean, the portions are huge, and their seasoning is delicious !When served this flavor can only be experienced if you go to the store, it's so flavorful, the aftertaste is fresh and sweet, and each seafood has it's own unique flavor! Had a great time chatting with the owner, a boss with quite a life resume. These days, prices are skyrocketing, focus on food quality, rather choose expensive than cheap ingredients boss is not much. That's why I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone to give it a try! Last but not least, the portion size is huge, we ordered this Combo and ate until we were full and then packed a big bag to go home.

Came to this place with the Fam. Came when it opened and I must say fast service indeed! Josie was amazing! Very friendly and attentive with all our request and needs. The food is a 10/10! Got the shrimp (headless) 1/2 pound with corn and potatoes with the kings sauce which is everything I believe with medium heat level. AMAZING! Definitely making the drive back out here from LA! Worth it. Very clean place I should add as well!

It was our last night in Diego I had taste for a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and Cajun fries. I ordered one for $15, my wife ordered a Fried catfish basket with Cajun Fries for $15, my daughter got the kids 2pc Chicken Tender basket with Sweet Potato Fries for $8.50 and my mom got the Catfish Po-Boy Sandwich for $15. The facility much bigger than expected. My sandwich was pretty good, not a lot of shrimp, could use a bit of seasoning on the breading, but the sauce, bread, lettuce and tomato was great! My wife really wanted a catfish with shrimp basket but they don't offer it and we couldn't just add shrimp without buying a seperate basket. If management is reading this post, that's our only suggestion.

Was looking for a different seafood boil spot and came across this place, first off the food was amazing ! We got the jumbo tray that feeds 2-3 and it was definitely worth it especially for the price. Restaurant is super spacious and great for large party's as well. I'm giving 4 starts only because our server never checked on us after we got our food and my beverage was forgotten but other than that food was great!

This place is King! Literally had the perfect size King Crab that I always enjoy. Think Costco size. The hottest flavor wasn't that spicy. More like a Medium/Hot. Mussels, sausage, potatoes, snow and King. Perfect portion size for a me.

I was in San Diego last week for my birthday and my family suggested to treat me out to my choice of place! This place was a big hit! Had everything that I loved ! The portions are huge, we had two of the mixed Cajun ( I think that is the name) and every bit was amazing, the service was extremely nice and welcomed us with a smile on there face.

Went here for the first time for lunch with my best friend. It was both of our first times and we chose to sit farther back in the restaurant for privacy purposes and for conversation. This place is very good for large groups I believe as they can sit parties of 10 or more. Off the bat I went to the bathroom and it was honestly not that clean. They had no toilet seat covers and there was feces in one of the stalls. I saw a worker come in and she glanced at it, washed her hands, and didn't even think to flush it. Maybe that's not her job, but they should still keep in cleanly. Bathrooms are very big for me because you can tell a lot about the establishment. Then we got our food and me and my friend got special B and C. I really like their juicy special mild. Their food was very flavorful, however they barely put any sauce/ marinade. Halfway done with my food, the bag had no more marinade and I dipped in my friends bag, which had little left as well. For what you pay, I feel like they should definitely add more sauce because my food was starting to dry out. In addition, our server was very kind, but she did not check on us once for how our food was or if we needed refills. If the restaurant was busy, we would completely understand, but there was only 6 ppl max in the restaurant when they can sit almost 60+ people. Not only that, but she gave us our check in the middle of our meal, without thinking if we wanted to order desserts. We decided to not buy desserts here, and just paid at the register since she didn't come to collect our check. Overall subpar. If everything else was fixed I would wanna rate 4/5 but ):

This is very very good. The food is great, the service is amazing. The workers brought it out very quick. I recommend this place!!!
