Overall Thoughts: This is a solid neighborhood spot for relatively affordable Thai and sushi-- you can satisfy 2 cravings at once. I'd say both the Thai and sushi flavors weren't as robust or vibrant as I would've liked, but I still enjoyed the meal. Got the Big Lunch that includes an appetizer, sushi roll and entree along with miso soup and cucumber/carrot salad. For the sushi we got the spicy crunchy tuna which wasn't really spicy or crunchy, but was pretty filling. For the entrees we got chicken pad thai and yellow curry, both which were large portions. For the appetizer we got the crab rangoons, which didn't include much crab but was your standard cream cheese filling and a sticky sweet sauce for dipping. The miso soup was standard and the salad was fresh along with a sweet dressing. Overall a great value at $20 and we took food home, so I would order it again. Service was prompt and the restaurant is small and intimate.

Authentic thai food with fresh sushi. Quality was very good and large pieces for nigiri. Tuna tartare was flavored wonderfully with sesame seeds on top. Pad thai entrees are large portions almost shareable. Staff was attentive and friendly from the moment I walked in and constantly checked on me and cleared plates. Great service and place to sushi and thai food.

Amazing fresh sushi. Sorry for the bad pics in my car of such great carry out sushi. Freshest salmon in as long as I can remember! I also had a white tuna roll with jalapeño and so delicious. I ate them with savory sweet potato rolls and was a perfect lunch on the go. Staff was sooooo friendly! My new favorite place!

Got food delivered from this place. It was my first time ordering from here and my husband is a big Thai food fan and he loved it. We ordered Vegetable rolls , sushi, chicken rolls, Pad thai, fried rice , chicken Katsu and yellow curry. Food was delicious. Sushi and chicken Katsu in particular was really good. Quantity was also decent. Food arrived in 40 min so not bad.Def recommend trying it.

There are a number of "neighborhood" sushi and Thai places in Chicago, but not all of them are that good. Some are just a "Jack of all trades, but a master at none". Worth just ok food. Kin Sushi & Thai Cuisine is one of the good ones. First, I like that they have a large menu and large number of dishes. On the night I went, I did not try their Thai food, but I'm looking forward to going back to try it. Second, their food is very good. I ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer, the tonkatsu ramen, miso soup, Black Peal roll, and Kin Sushi Combo. I especially liked their sushi. The Black Pearl roll to was very good and I would highly recommend it. Next, the sushi combo was great. I am lover of tuna sushi and I judge all sushi places on how they do tuna nagiri. The tuna is here is great and you should order it. Third, for a city restaurant parking is great. While they do not have a parking lot, street parking is very plentiful. I went on weekday night at around 6:00 pm and I have no issue getting a free parking spot. In fact, I park right a across the street on Milwaukee avenue. If you are looking for a sushi or ramen spot in the Noble Squire or should Bucktown area I would highly recommend Kin Sushi and Thai i Cuisine.
