SHOUT OUT to Glen, our server. Sooo friendly, great customer service . First time here, celebrated bday. Foods are excellent, big portions too. With reasonable pricing Sitting areas available inside and place also has small patio . Place is at North park, so expect that parking will be a challenge.Although there is a nearby parking structure about a block aways from the restaurant.

Kin Len has quickly become a favorite restaurant of mine! I absolutely love the style of this restaurant- right when you walk in, the ambiance makes you feel transported to a Thai street-food night market. The menu offers a nice variety of choices. So far I have tried: - Tom yum french fries- fried enoki mushroom- son in law wings- papaya salad (som yum Thai)- pad Thai boran - basil beef (kra prao neua)- chicken and rice (khao man gai)They also have Asian beers, sake, and soju.Honestly, everything I have tried here is soooo flavorful and well-seasoned. There are many dishes I still want to try. I could eat here all the time and be happy. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

This place has high reviews for a reason, the food is SO good. My partner and I loved everything we ordered so much that we almost finished everything...we ordered so much they moved us to another table to fit everything lol.The place has cute street eats vibes and reminds me of warm nights eating in the restaurants in South East Asia. Their service is top notch, everyone is so attentive and kind. We highly recommend this place.

I don't think I'll be able to go to any other San Diego Thai restaurant again,". This place reigns supreme. We ordered the papaya salad, pork belly and Thai fried chicken with curry. All incredible. The service was spectacular and the food was so fresh and authentic.

Amazing experience! We came last Thursday for dinner and it was nothing short of amazing! Parking is very rough like anywhere else in that area and inside is small but enough to fit more than 5 tables. The waiters were attentive with service and made ordering a breeze. We ordered quite a bit of food; tom yum fries, fried garlic intestines, tom yum wings, Thai beef stew noodles, ka na, and tom yum noodles pork ribs, along with tom yum beer and mango sticky rice beer. The fries were more so for my baby nephew. He was joking that they were sour but I think he liked them because him and my son couldn't stop picking on them. The fried garlic intestines had to have been our least favorite since they were very over fried and tough to eat since they were really hard and dried. The tom yum wings were a bit dry and overcooked as well but the flavor was there! Thai beef stew noodles were too sweet for my likings but I enjoyed how there were so many different types of meat inside. My son said his tom yum noodles were good and I tried his pork ribs which were huge and tender. I really loved my husband's ka na crispy pork rice dish it was really flavorful to my likings and fried perfectly!

Excellent Thai food spot in north park. My fav is the chicken curry. The skin is perfectly done. The curry is so good also. Roti is also perfect. If you love curry and fried chicken. Do yourself a favor and stop by here

What a great street food-style Thai restaurant located in North Park! Be prepared to circle around for paid street parking.Environment/Service:My friend and I went at 1pm on a Thursday and we were seated right away and opted for an outdoor table where they have a few 2 person tables. Inside, there are 2-4 person tables. Doesn't seem the place to be for larger groups. Our server was very attentive, constantly filled up our waters, and food came pretty fast!Food:-Spicy Fish Cake ($10.95): 5 pieces of round fish cakes, served with sweet chili sauce. Wasn't too spicy and was a little chewy. I'd probably skip this next time.-Tom Yum Wings ($10.95): 6 pieces half drums/half flats. The crunch was perfect and the flavor was super good! I'd order this again. -Drunken Mama ($18.95): not your regular Thai drunken noodles. It has thin noodles, more saucy, and had great flavoring! Served with a good amount of shrimp, mussels, and scallops. -Basil Beef ($15.95): 4/5 spice. I love spicy food and this had a little bit of a kick to it! Served with rice and fried egg on top. I realllyyy enjoyed this dish!-Thai Tea: free with check inOverall:There were so many options that it was hard to choose between the two of us! The servings were not as big as you'd expect for the prices but we still ended up full and had enough to take home for left overs. I'd love to come back to try out other items on the menu.

What an awesome spot! Love the street-style food and setting of this North Park gem. I love a good Thai restaurant--whether it be the fancy, bougie types or the casual, no frills type. This one is more of the latter and it definitely works. The food comes out quick and the service is pretty good too.My absolute favorite dish here is the Basil Beef. it was seasoned well. Came with a fried egg and fresh cucumbers, and it was just a delicious bite each time. The Crab Fried Rice was very tasty, with a decent amount of crab meat. This place is awesome for happy hour as well because they have lots of appetizers to choose from while you sip a drink. Don't skip out on the Crispy Pork Belly, Crab Rangoon Cigar Rolls and the Fried Wontons. The Chicken Satay app comes with 5 skewers and can be a welcome entree with a side of white rice. The menu has several options for everybody, and I am looking forward to trying more of their food in the future!

This was the most delicious Thai food I have had in ages. I rarely stray away from my usuals, but my partner recommended this curry dish. It was flavorful and spicy, but deliciously seasoned. The servers were consistently filling my water, which is really important to me. The restaurant is cramped, but so is all of north park! Oh and very reasonably priced.

I never really craved Thai food until I went to Kin Len. Their crispy pork belly and chicken wings were fried to perfection. My favorite dish here though has to be the Khao Soi Noodles. It was a little spicy for me but I couldn't stop eating it. The broth was rich, creamy, and as I mentioned had a nice kick. Also love the location of this restaurant as so many bars and shops are in walking distance. The service was a solid 10/10 for me, and the prices are very affordable ($60-80 for two). Would I go again? Yes!
