This review may get removed but hopefully it stays up long enough to make even the smallest impact. This is in response to the latest review. Sir, I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience last night. I take pride in my work and did not feelgood that you left clearly upset. However, I would like to tell you a little bit about what you didn't see. You observed a restaurant that was 1/3 full. I respectfully disagree. We were just finally recovering from several groups that had all sat simultaneously in the dining room. We were not aware that they were coming (no reservations) therefore, were not staffed properly. I would guesstimate that there were about 50-60 guests in the dining room, 10 guests at the bar, and about 15-20 more outside on the patio. We had one bartender, two cooks, and one server handling all of this. The dishwasher actually threw on an apron to take tables, and an employee who was there enjoying a mealWith her family, clocked in to help out. We had no food runner and no busser. Miraculously though, we all dug in our heels and made it work the best we could. I'm proud of my teammates and how we were able to execute and hold it together during such a stressful time. Was it perfect? No. There were a few casualties as a result of the level of business we had vs staff members. It's very disheartening after working SO hard to then see a 1 star review that is not fully accurate. When you asked to cancel your order, I immediately went and checked the line to see if it was up or would be ready soon. The order was being plated as I approached. You were not forgotten about and I did not lie. I don't appreciate the accusation. I was very apologetic and comped a beer. There was not much else I could do. I am sure the owners\GM would love an opportunity to make a better impression, so please feel free to to email them and let them know about your experience. I please just urge you in the future to consider the bigger picture before writing a one star review as this can be extremely hurtful to a business that is simply doing their best. Nice place to come see live music. The food is decent, can get a little bit crowded sometimes. my only issue is this. They charge you 5 dollars before you can even come into the venue. They no longer have cocktail waitresses, taking orders for your drinks or food so you have to stand in line and you're promptly charged surcharge . I would much rather be dancing or enjoying the company of my friends than standing in line. it was more convenient when they had waitresses.

Let me just start that it was 7pm on Saturday night. Business was packed inside and outside with extremely loud music. It was also short staffed as the assistant manager was seating, taking orders, running food and cooking food as well. My party ordered drinks and desserts. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and as for the desserts they took an hour and 10 minutes to hit the table. We had ordered a sundae and a baked cookie. We were forewarned that it would be a long wait but boy was it. The quality of the desserts were underwhelming. Cookies under done and sundae missing cherry. I'd consider coming back again different time of day.

Service was great and the vibe was very much chill.I was expecting more when ordering the Carne Asada Fries. It was a let down because I was expecting carne asada, but what came out was ground beef. Waffle fries came out nice and crisp, so that's a plus.Half ribs were okay, but it was lacking. The sauce needed more seasoning, taste to it, it's missing something. Felt like the ribs could have been reheated.Lastly, Mai tai... Absolutely delicious. The person who makes the drinks are on point. The glass cup it came in was pretty cool. This is probably an amazing place to get drinks.

Thank you Ernesto he introduced his self to us Assist Manager very polite and great energy. Ernesto bought out our drink and it continue to be amazing here. We all enjoyed this amazing Resturant Kimball our 1st. Time here very welcoming it wasn't real busy which was nice. The drinks came on happy hour and then the food arrived shrimp fajitas was hot and delicious too!The rice bowl it was so big she need to take home the leftovers very great fish delicate and seasoned perfect. It wasn't dry very tasty with good flavor also.My Asian Salad was good!! I have it again I also had 2 tacos A carnitas & carne asada both were excellent all the right flavors happened I enjoy themThe decor here open and airy with beach theme and the plants give a homey feel. Happy Hour is happens here and on the weekend dancing in there patio too There's room for a special party outside if you want This Resturant is right off the 5 fwy in National CityParking in front and in the back We'll be back Ernesto

All the years I've passed this place getting on 5 South and it was right there at the Traffic light. It's right next to a motel. They have outside seating but it's not covered for all. It will depend on when you arrive. Parking could be a challenge because of the motel next door. We went on a Sunday and there was a band there so we were charged $5 dollars cover charge. There was nothing before we got there that said a band would be present. If you chose to be seated outside there will be no wait staff to place your order. You have to go to a window and place your order. You give your cc for a tab and each time you want another drink or food item you have to go back to the window. After the order it could be 20 to over 30 minutes waiting on the food. I had the sliders and steak tacos. When the food arrived it was just steak and what look liked fired onions and that was it, with beans and rice on the side. There was no salsa, the sliders had nothing as a sauce, not even catch up. I had to go in side and ask for condiments. I went to the bar area first and the young lady I talked to said to go to the kitchen for that. I would believe these items should be included when you order. The tacos tasted plain, I've had better off a taco truck for less. The sliders were dry and seemed like they came out of a microwave. We asked for two waters and only one was brought to the table. The person taking the orders at the window seemed confused at times to the point that almost cause a disaster with ordering because they had stated something that didn't happen because they were not attentive to the process. The place out side is small so while the band played to converse you almost had to yell and this would include ordering. So this is knowing before you go. Total bill was $129.10 with a gratuity including. Basically we paid extra for them to make the terrible food because there was no wait staff, just someone to bring the food where we sat. Does that deserve a tip....There could have just called out the number we were given and we could pick up our own food. For what I have mentioned if you decided to go keep your expectations low and you want be disappointed.
