If I'm out and about especially in a place that I haven't been in 15 years (Faneuil hall) and I see cookies that are clearly not factory style and also clearly have a nut to accompany the chocolate chip I'm gonna git me sum. Purchased 3 for 12 - these are large cookies - probably 4-5 inch diameter. 2 with Walnuts and one with Pecans - these were sublime - gooey and crunchy all in one bit - Why only 3.5 stars must mean their other goods - brownies - maybe not on par but them cookies - you can order comfortably knowing you are getting 5 star cookies.

I hadn't been here in a really long time and the smell of the cookies baking drew me to the counter. My BF saw the big, beautiful cookies and couldn't resist. Tye counter lady was friendly and likely entained by the fawning over the opulent confections. We bought one to start and went off to find lunch at a local stand I go to each time I'm in town. Before we could even order lunch, we knew we'd be back to buy more cookies. He ended up getting three chocolate chip with pecans and a peanut butter! Somehow they made it back to NYC but we were sorry we didn't get more.

The window shopping was so enticing walking by. So I decided to grab a truffle, bailies infused. Honestly the taste was fine. It was so heavy though. I'd recommend sharing with a friend. Def not worth the $5 price tag. Sorry to say. Should have tried the raspberry, but I have little faith it was any better. Maybe I'm a cynic, maybe I'm just spoiled but not my favorite.

I was in Boston chaperoning my daughter's middle school Founding Fathers trip. She turned 12 on the last day of the trip. It being a hectic week, I totally forgot to get something prepared for her birthday. A shoutout to Kilbert & Forbes Bakeshop in Faneuil Hall, for responding to my panicked 3:30am emailed plea to get a birthday cookie cake with pink and purple frosting ready for pick-up at 1pm. Kevin W read my email at 4:30am and made it happen! The cookie cake looked and tasted great. I was expecting a thin cookie, but this had some depth. THANK YOU, Kevin and Kilvert & Forbes Bakeshop for saving me, and making my daughter's birthday extra special!

When in Boston, be sure to visit the Freedom Trail and hit the historical spots. This little dessert place was discovered when I was venturing through Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall. It is located in a massive hall with about 40 food shops throughout filled with hungry patrons. After eyeing at this bakery, I decided to go with the cream filled chocolate chip cookie (~$6). Initially, I thought it was ice cream between the baked goods and was excited for it. As much as it looked good, I was not sold on this at all. Cookie was soft, moist, and delicious. I only had the pieces of cookies and threw the rest away. Also, the prices are ridiculous. Cookies alone are about $3.25. Overall, I wouldn't come here again.

$3.75 for a cookie? That is too funny to me.The white chocolate toffee cookie was the best one that I tried from here. Perfectly crispy with a bit of softness as well. A bite of chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and toffee in every bite. The regular chocolate chip cookies taste artificial and store-bought.M&m and chocolate chip cookie was yummy as well. Definitely a perfect treat for a chocolate lover like me.The other treats here looked good but the brownies were over $6 and I just couldn't help but roll my eyes and laugh. Really? $6 for a brownie? Now that is hilarious. 5 stars for the comedy, but 3 stars for the reality.

As a local the prices are high for a cookie or candy but if I was someone that was visiting this would definitely be on my list of places to stop by. Big cookies. Health bar with the big pieces of hearth bar are my favorire. Coll

After enjoying my lobster filled lunch I needed something sweet before continuing my Freedom Trail adventure. We walked through Quincy Market and settled on this spot. Here I chose an M&M cookie. The cookie was huge so my husband and I just split one cookie. The flavor and texture were good enough to satisfy my sweet craving, but not so memorable that I would feel the need to return here.

Decided to try this place while visiting Quincy Market! It was one of the places that first captivated me because of the delicious looking desserts...and to make it even better, there is a sweet deal for 50% off if you purchase 3 cookies! (Special promotion until 3/31/15) We ordered: -1 Maggie's double chocolate chip cookie -1 oatmeal raisin cookie -1 Maggie's walnut chocolate chip cookiePros:-good service! Ladies were nice and gave suggestions. -huge cookies! The reason I was appealed to these cookies in the first place is because of how big the cookies looked. -pretty fresh cookies! The cookies broke apart so easily showing that it should be pretty fresh! Yay for soft, chewy, sweet cookies! Hit just the right spot. -good variety of other parties and desserts! I saw cute cupcakes, muffins and I believe they also have coffee. Cons: -the original prices are a little ridiculous. I mean, how much does it cost to make a cookie? But it's part of the market, so I can't critique much. Overall, would come here again if they had the deal!

Worked here in the early 80's for 2 years while attending college. The cookies were and still are the best in Boston. I've been back a handful of times over the years. Most recent visit was in January 2020. The place looks a little different and some items have been added. I forget what we got but it was awfully good.
