Came in for lunch on a Friday. Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately smelled incent which was very calming and refreshing to me. The staff was super attentive and helpful with recommendations. We had refreshing Tamarind Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic). For food, we ordered Beef Shank Soup which had a huge ox tailbone and a lot of delicious bone marrow, and Adobong Pusit which was refreshing and fulfilling. I usually don't have many opportunities to try Filipino food. This was an awesome experience! The interiors were new and nice. The restroom was also beautiful and smelled wonderful.22% service charge was automatically added to our bill.Parking could be challenging in Chinatown. But we were able to find a spot.

Updated review based on dining in. Service was amazing, place setting and atmosphere also great. This restaurant kind of borders 3 and 4 stars. The price was actually pretty high in my opinion. As an Asian American, asking for $4 for one scoop of rice and automatic 22% gratuity on top?! That's $4.88 for a scoop of rice!! Especially when I believe Filipino food should ALWAYS come with rice. Soup, saucy, sabaw!!! Dang, our ancestors are mad for me. Rice prices aside... The totsong talong at okra was the BEST dish. It was surprising in flavor and textures. Wow this was so good. Get this.

I tend to be someone who thinks there can never be too many amazing Filipino restaurants, so I am thrilled to see this addition to the Seattle restaurant scene. Palabok plus an alcohol-free orange creamsicle were my choices for evening. I actually haven't chosen pancit in past restaurant experiences, as they never met, much less exceeded, the flavors I remembered from my first experience with this dish, created by a Filipino friend - but this was the exception! I was also concerned that the creamsicle, made with coconut milk, would be too sweet for my palate, that tends to prefer citrus and savory flavors. But this drink perfectly balanced sweet and tangy tastes.

Loved eating here. We were a group of 4 doing a walk in on Tuesday for dinner and was able to find a table. The whole place was pretty filled around 7, so maybe reservations would be needed. We got the sinigang wings, totsong talong okra, pancit canton, kare kare dan dan, sinigang na baboy, and spicy pork adobo.Sinigang wings were a great flavor, the size of the wings were a little small, but came with about 8 wings. The okra was good, it has eggplant in it as well. The sauce for this was amazing and we kept it around to pour over the noodles or dip the wings in.The pancit canton and the kare kare dan dan were both really good. The favorite of these two were the pancit canton with adding the chinese sausages. I'd probably only get one instead of two noodles dishes though.Sinigang was amazing, loved the soup and it came with a decent amount of meat. The spicy pork adobo isn't too spicy, but a nice kick. The flavor of this over rice is also great.Surprisingly the "beautiful", the drink with beef broth and remy was great. The beef broth counteracts the burn from the remy in a crazy way we weren't expecting. Would recommend you try it at least once. The ube cereal milk was surprisingly good, wish it came in a giant gallon portion though haha. Overall a great option for a nicer casual dinner. Typically filipino food is really heavy, somehow they found a good balance of having really flavorful and filling food without the heaviness that's usually associated with filipino food.

This place has great tasting food! The dishes are like fusion dishes. So, they have Sinigang wings were so juicy, citrussy, and crunchy. I have came here on two separate occasions and ordered the Kare Kare Dan Dan noodles both time because it is so good!! The peanut in it makes it almost like sesame noodles. The lumpia were well made but you only get 4. They have rotating specials, which gives even more variety! The place is spacious and not too crowded when I went on two separate occasions. They include service charge and are so attentive to the table. I would come back here for the flavors, this place has fun twists in Filipino fare.

Excellent modern Filipino cuisine but at a steep price. I went here without reservation and the hostess was able to immediately seat us, and this is likely because it was on a Tuesday dinner so it wasn't as busy. The place is nicely decorated and there is a small menu, which speaks to a quality over quantity type of place. Their cocktails are Filipino-inspired, and we got to try most of them since there weren't that many options. We got the sinigang wings, lumpiang shanghai, kare kare dan dan, and pork adobo for food and grilled piña mezcal, kimlet, ube mojito, and beautiful for the cocktails.Sinigang wings - very tangy and perfect pairing with the slightly sweet mango sauce on the side. This one is a hit for everyoneLumpiang shanghai - fairly standard lumpia, made into 4 long pieces, quite crunchy and the filling is good. However, this is a bit steep for $14 so just get the wings only if you want an appetizerKare kare dan dan - their siganture dish. I like the noodles and the flavor explosion from the garlic and chili oil. The short ribs are very tender and mesh with the thick saucePork adobo - coconut-heavy flavors with tangy notes like a variation of adobo. We paired it with 2 orders of rice (tbh 1 order is enough for 3 people to share) and we enjoyed the sauces to the endOf the cocktails, all of them are fairly strong, but the grilled piña mezcal is most fruity and the kimlet is stronger and smokier. Beautiful is 1 shot with beef broth side by side, so $18 for that is steep relative to the more sophisticated cocktails on the menu but it is a good pairing experience.Service is good as water refills are fairly common and they do a good job clearing and replacing dishes throughout the meal. The -1 star is due to the extremely steep increase of pricing in such a short period, far more than many restaurants I have eaten, ON TOP of the mandatory 22% service charge. For example, the Kare Kare Dan Dan used to be $18 then $21 then now $26 before tax/tip in a span of a few months. As a former $$ restaurant on Yelp, this is more like a $$$+ as we spent over $200 for 3 people for a supposedly "casual" meal.

Kilig comes with lots of buzz, opened by the same chef/team that owns Musang. Intended as a fast casual eatery, they call themselves a panciteria, as in pancit-cafeteria. The inside is clean and neat. It was New Year's Day and quite empty with no more than 3 tables at a time. Service was swift. It is in the CID, so street parking only. Their prices are a wee high, especially when comparing against so many old timer mom and pop shops in the area. Gratuity is a mandatory 20%. The Food:Kare Kare Dan Dan, $21 - 3.5 Stars Take the classic Kare Kare (peanut butter oxtail) and combine with a bit of the classic dan dan noodles, this is the resultant fare with a flair. This dish uses both tahini and peanut sauce; instead of oxtail (very expensive these days), they use shredded short rib as the protein. The flavor is very good, except the grease was pooling at the top (visible orange glow). By the bottom, it was quite greasy. If my hubby is mentioning it, it must be very greasy. Palabok, $19 - 3 StarsCornstarch noodles with shrimp and pork ragu, with bits of shrimp on topFull confession that I am not a fan of the ground meats texture. I asked the server about it, and he said this is his favorite dish. I am a trusting soul (or fool) and decided to try it anyway, against my better judgement. I couldn't get over the lumps and bumps in the sauce; I really hate that texture. Hubby ate all the chicharron and meat/ragu bits for me. Flavor wise, it has a distinctive flavor that reminds me of something my in-laws made. I liked it enough to eat it but would not order again. Lumpiang Shanghai, $14 - 4 Stars Out of the entire menu, this is the most traditional-recipe dish. Hubby said this is exactly how his parents made it (except shorter). The savory vinegary sauce is the traditional sauce vs the sweet and sour or Thai sweet chili sauce served in more American centric venues. Cost wise, it is quite spendy.Sinigang Wings, $15 - 2.5 StarsMenu: crispy chicken wings, tamarind seasoning with a mango sauce The excellent mango sauce is the key to this dish! However, the chicken wings are very, very hard and difficult to bite down on. Maybe they had an off day. We eat plenty of Korean fried chicken and Vietnamese fried chicken, but these are pushing the envelope of crunchy vs cardboard. Flavor wise, it was good, especially with the mango sauce. Even so, I would not order this again.

I love Filipino food so had to give this place a try! Kilig is more Filipino fusion, so keep that in mind if you're looking for super authentic Filipino food, this wouldn't be the place. I got 3 drinks: the tamarind ginger beer, ube mojito and the kimlet. I couldn't really taste the ube in the mojito but the tamarind ginger beer and kimlet were delicious! For dishes, I got the beef stew, Sinigan chicken wings and the Kare Kare Dan Dan. The Kare Kare was AMAZING and there was a slight kick to the sauce too. Highly recommend trying this dish out. The beef stew was a homey meal and chicken wings were nicely seasoned. The staff were helpful and nice, they also gave good suggestions for what to get if you're not sure. I came here for Monday dinner and there was no wait time, good vibes overall.

Finally went to this place after eyeing it for a long time and Kilig definitely lives up to the hype! The vibes are modern, but not sterile--lots of personality and color in the decor and the glassware. The food was great overall as well:- I got the ube mojito more out of curiosity and it turned out to be a great drink. It tasted like a mojito but with a hint of bubblegum/cotton candy from the ube- The lumpias were solid, but nothing special to write home about- The bulong was good and nostalgic--it was like a slightly elevated version of the pork bone soup my mom would make for me. The beef was also soooo tender!- The best dish we tried was definitely the kare kare dan dan. The dish has a strong creamy sesame flavor like most other dan dan noodles but have a really pleasant beefy finish. To top everything off, the service was great! The servers were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu :)

This place is ridiculously overhyped and is far from the quality you get at musang. Keep in mind - I love musang so I had high hopes. Yikes not sure what happened this place was ROUGH. Kare kare noodles tastes like peanuts butter mixed with ground beef. The beef soup was flavorless. The wings were mediocre at best. The food is borderline bad and not worth spending your money here. I would say avoid. they tack on a 22% service charge... Ambiance is fine but nothing to write home about.
