The first thing I noticed was the parking situation. It is limited, but there is a parking garage that requires an app to submit your plates for 2 hours of free parking. They are next to the library and park which has their own parking. Someone mentioned that the library will issue tickets. This museum is probably the cleanest one I have been to. I have been to a good number of kid museums. The bathroom doesn't have liners for the seat, but the seats and sink were clean the three times I went in. There is a reading area, water area, train track area, small farmers market play area.

This is such a great place to spend a few hours with kiddos! Love all the different play areas as well as the gated toddler space. It reminded me a lot of the nearby museums like Imagine in Everett and HandsOn in Olympia. Lots of fun activities for kiddos to enjoy.I don't think there was much of an outdoor play area as the others but my son really loved the water stations and the toddler play area with the apples and play kitchen.

Reviews were mixed about this place so I didn't know what to expect... but wow we had a great time! Such a clean place and so many little details that make this museum memorable and fun. I like how they monitor capacity and strict on reservations.. we didn't feel too overwhelmed on a weekend. Not a huge place but they organized the rooms very well so it seemed much larger. The giant playarea in the middle of the museum is fun and massive. Fun for older kids.. a little too large for my 3 year old. The tot area was cute and gated. Loved the farm theme and the concept of "farm-to-table". So cute! Water area was fun with so many tables to play at. We live up north closer to the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett.. and we prefer Kid's Quest! The price is definitely alot more reasonable as well! We'll be back for more playtime...

KidsQuest Museum: A Day of Highs and LowsI recently took the kiddos for a fun-filled day at the KidsQuest Museum in Bellevue, Washington. It's a place brimming with a variety of interactive exhibits, all set to spark curiosity and joy in the little ones. However, our experience was akin to a rollercoaster ride, with its fair share of ups and downs.A few areas of the museum seemed to have seen better days. The water play area, for example, had a couple of exhibits that were broken or worn down. Even the outdoor area had a few sun-bleached and broken toys scattered around. Considering the entry fee, it was a tad disappointing. But hey, it wasn't all bumps and hiccups. The climbing structure right smack in the middle of the museum was an absolute hit with the kids. My four-year-old, in a bout of bravery, scurried up to the top all on her own, and even managed to climb down without any help. Now that was a sight to see!The day we visited, the museum was bustling with little explorers, which meant my children had to wait their turn for some of the exhibits. It was a good lesson in patience, sure, but it did hamper their ability to enjoy everything at their own pace. All in all, KidsQuest still holds its charm as a unique space for children to learn and have fun. A little bit of TLC and a plan for crowd management could really kick things up a notch. As it stands now, I'd give it a solid 2.5 out of 5 stars. Here's hoping for better on our next visit!

What a fun museum for kids to get their energy out! Stopped by KidsQuest Children's Museum on a Friday morning at 10:30am. The main parking lot is quite small and was already full so we parked at the adjacent lot (close to the library structure) by the park. $14 per adult and any child over the age of 1. There were a few play areas down on the first floor (Water Play, Atrium Climber, OnTheGo) and an outdoor area as well, but a majority of the exhibits were upstairs (City Scape, Story Tree, Tot Orchard, etc.). Before arriving, we thought 2 hours would be a stretch here but the kids had so much fun and time went by quick. Great museum for play and learning. Thankfully we came on a weekday morning so it wasn't too crowded with more than enough space for the kids to run and play without waiting.

Amazing! A little pricey, but there were so many floors of fun! You can definitely spend the whole day here. Except I don't remember there being a food area to sit down and have some lunch. We spent hours here from opening until lunch time. So much to see and do! Even I had fun myself.

We looked at all the children's museums in the area, and kidsquest made the most sense for us by far! With an affordable membership and indoor and outdoor fun, it's a must have. We typically stop in weekly and play for a bit, but I will say we've only really explored the young kids area as we have 2 under 2. :)

I don't understand the hype about this place. We are surrounded by real nature in the Seattle area (as well as real museums), and instead hundreds of kids and their parents are packed in a small building with little breathing room to climb some fake rope, play some toy wood train set you can buy on Amazon, play with plastic apples in a tiny plastic farm, and splash some tap water in a metal drain? There are better ways to entertain your kids that are far more enriching and less claustrophobic and chaotic than this place. And it can be done for far cheaper too.

Incredible museum. Newer. Amazing two-stories filled with activities. My 4 yo old and I wee here for 3 hour. He loves riding in the real Peterbilt engine, the amazing water room, train tracks, and the clay station. An incredible reading nook on the third floor. Best of all, this museum participates in the Blue Star program so military members and their families get in for free. Otherwise, it's $14 per person. Children under 1 are free. They have a closed off Tot room for the sub-3 that looks lovely, too. FYI there's no snacks for sale. We found a great dumpling restaurant just a 5 minute walk away.We have been to kid museums in Gulfport, Pasadena, LA, Reno, Truckee, and a few more which are similar in model but not a "museum". This might be my favorite!

Very clean; friendly staff are great about putting things back where they belong. Loved the treehouse reading nook, outdoor "kitchen", the truck, and water room. We stayed for about 1.5 hours having arrived an hour before opening. Had to park in the nearest garage and would have been under the two hour free limit. Parking in the actual parking lot is unlikely since it fills up quickly. Gift shop has some lovely variety in products. Kids had fun but was hoping they'd have wanted to stay longer since it was my planned activity for the day! Loved that the admission rate was for the day with in and out privileges. If we lived in the area when my kids were small, I'd have definitely purchased a membership. Great place for a birthday party venue.
