I've never been a big fan of this place, but I finally have had enough. There's so many other establishments in San Diego to go to then to visit here. PROs: In a prime location for very good convenience.CONs: Parking is a challenge in the evenings. The decor and ambience reminds me of a 1980s bar you would see on TV like cheers. I would expect much cheaper food and drinks for that kind of vibe. The staff usually looks like they're either hung over, incompetent, or no interest in being there. They sometimes attempt humor but I've often found it more annoying than entertaining. It's not uncommon to see the place unattended for long periods of time. Food items are OK but they're extremely overpriced. I would recommend ordering beer since getting the mixed drinks is hit and miss as far as made correctly. It's like the local watering hole for 50+ recently divorced that love to use the F word like it's the ninth part of speech. Definitely not family, or civilized friendly.

If you like Asian fusion/Asian American food you will love Khan's! I think it's one of the better places that do what they do. Great for groups. I typically come here with friends for happy hour. I usually avoid Asian fusion but Khan's has some seriously cravable specialties and some great shareable dishes and it all works out when you're in a big group.Service depends how full the restaurant is, so I can be quick or delayed but the food is always hot and the drinks cold. I like the interior design, I just wish they would remodel or upgrade elements: the foyer, the bar, the dining tables/chairs, its has a been around look. Great ambiance, busy/noisy at times but fun. The cocktails are ... average. I had lunch and got 'to go' food because their 'to go' and leftovers are as tasty and fulfilling as eating in (see pic) I think it's the fresh ingredients, decent cooking and well done sauces that make this food so cravable, not sure. It's definitely not the best at any one thing but all-around they do a fantastic job with Asian fusion cooking. In the pic I have a few of my favorites that i recommend: Seafood Phad Thai, Pork fried rice, Garlic Shrimp, and Spicy Eggplant.

Friday night dinner after work. Came just in time to catch the tail end of HH which ends at 7pm. Feels like a small neighborhood spot with a lot of regular locals. Service was excellent. Food came out quickly and staff checked on us regularly. The food was hit and miss. Some dishes were amazing 10/10 and others were disappointing. 1. Garlic sole filet - light but flavorful, big portion, fish was tender and lightly breaded 10/102. Ginger glazed shrimp basket - crispy with great flavor! 10/103. Sweet and sour wings - crispy, a little too much breading, good flavor 7/104. Chicken lettuce wraps - small portion, a little salty 5/105. Duck sliders - 3 Bao buns with a small piece of chewy duck 3/10We would come again as there are many menu options to try and for their genuine hospitality.

Best place to eat for Asian Fusion food or any other great meals they have. Ambiance is terrific and so is the bar area. Excellent and very friendly service. You can even eat outside & take your fur friend if you want to. Try this wonderful restaurant and you too will love it and the owners.

I have been hearing this spot mentioned for a long time but didn't really know much about it when I was invited. It was an unforcasted very rainy night and I was drenched walking from the parking lot to the restaurant. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to our table of 30. At the entrance stands a large gold Buddha, the walls and ceiling are wood with ornate gold embellishments. A tv with specials and pictures of delicious looking dishes was on rotation. Serval appetizers were ordered for the table and we all enjoyed them as we socialized and perused the extensive menu. The had Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Italian influenced dishes so maybe some thing for everyone? The server continuously checked in and made sure our drinks and water were filled. Then it was time to order.I was cold and wet and so I decided to order ramen much to the servers dismay and he shot me a look and made a noise that indicated I hadn't made a good choice. I asked what he recommended and he said the Chilean sea bass or the sole. Knowing the price of Chilean sea bass and the fact that the bill was being paid for by my friend's work I opted for the sole. As he continued down the table I heard him push the sea bass several more times. It is one of the most expensive items on the menu, if not the most expensive. The server was definitely upselling as we all ordered drinks and he kept bringing more without being prompted. My sole came and it was so delicious. The portion was huge, 2 large filets over broccoli. People ordered lamb, sea bass, cashew chicken and many other dishes. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and we all had a good time. I would come back for the sole dish alone but my lemon ginger old fashioned was also very good

A great local spot for mid-week lunch with co-workers. We chose here for lunch since it's pretty close to our office, and they had no issues seating 10 people. I appreciate that the employees are prompt with their service and food came out fast. They have a variety of asian food and also western food, so lots of choices! I don't know if it's authentic asian food, but the flavors were nice. Everyone was pretty happy with their dishes. I got the Tangy Crispy Chicken. It was definitley tangy and crispy! Nice portion, but some of the chicken pieces were small and thin, where I wish they were a bit bigger.

My friends and I love the seafood vermicelli soup, walnut creamy shrimp and the seafood pad Thai. For dessert, we had the tiramisu cake. All delicious! Our waiter served as well, making sure we are ok throughout our stay.

I don't know if I was in a good mood or what, but I loved the vibes at Khan's! Cocktails, great asian food, and very lively on the Saturday night I went. The peppery fried chicken wings were so crunchy on the outside and perfectly seasoned. Loved the pork fried rice, garlic butter shrimp, and green beans. Perfect spread fo two people and a lot of flavor. Appreciated the cocktails, like their margarita. Super nice service. Bar and restaurant seating
