This place is so great. We came here for a delivery next door work and we stopped in for breakfast!! Great idea and great price. I had the Benedict and my cow worker had the breakfast burrito. Both excellent choices. If I'm ever sent to Keyport again I'll take a detour to try something else on the menu :)The only thing I'd say is not so great is getting the Benedict and having to cut it in a Styrofoam container. Lol. Once you get it down and don't poke a hole you are good. Thank you for the great breakfast!!

If you need a loaf if bread of some milk and don't want to dive to Silverdale or Poulsbo then this is your place, if you want a decently priced sandwich or a better than meh pizza then you need to go somewhere else. The staff runs from apathetic to rude depending on who is working. I have heard the older guy with the mullet tell customers that he hate kids while there are parents with kids in the store. I have lived in town for close to 10 years and only darken their door when I have no other choice.

My family and I stopped here after the naval museum per recommendation. We all got sandwiches and they were made fresh to order and were really tasty! My nephews got pizza and they gave it the stamp of approval with their "ohhhhs" and "ahhhs" and "yums." If I end up in Keyport again, I will definitely be stopping by!

The turkey, ham, and avocado sandwich wonderful and at a good price. The outside seating area is right by the water. I highly recommend it.

I'm a local Keyport resident and I just love the Mercantile! The sandwiches are fabulous-- my favorite is the TBA (Turkey, Bacon, and Avacado) on their YUM sourdough with chipotle mayo. My husband swears by the Reuben. For sides, you can choose from chips, a GIANT pickle, potato salad or some seriously delish corn and bean salad. I usually go for the corn and bean because it is tangy and different than sides offered elsewhere. If you're there in the evening, try the pizza. It's simple but really really good. Downside- only served from 3-8pm. I haven't tried the calzones yet, but friends have and they say they're good. The staff are local folks who are not overly perky or trying to upsell you anything, which I like. The building is unassuming and feels like a small-town sandwich shop on the inside.. we dig it! There are interesting historical photos of the area on the walls, a community message board, and even a few gift items like t-shirts, hats, stickers and greeting cards (a lot of our friends get Keyport gear as last-minute gifts!)On the other side of the shop, there is an impressive (and reasonably priced) beer and wine selection as well as a small grocery selection. The food items on this side are more expensive than a regular grocery store but I feel like that's pretty appropriate since it's not a regular grocery store. It almost always has whatever I forgot to pick up, so the markup is worth it for the convenience factor, in my opinion. You can also ask for some of their fresh produce, and if they have enough to spare, they will sell it to you. (Hello, Corona-- meet lime!)

Sandwiches are freshly made and the people are nice. Hubby's tuna fish sandwich was on the puny size but my ham and turkey sandwich was good. Beautiful view of the boats and water.

Great spot for some lunch especially since there's not really any other options that I'm aware of besides casa Mexico in keyport.

Traveling to Keyport for work and this shop was recommended. Sandwich and soup were good and the customer service was great. If you're in the area it's worth dropping in for a quick bite.

Took a break from the Naval Undersea Museum (free) to have some soup and a sandwich. Fittingly, I had the Mini Sub, a most excellent sandwich. Also had the soup of the day, ham and bean. What a great little break! Walk down to the docks for amazing views as well. Great food and a great day in Keyport!

We really enjoyed our lunch here, as we visited the nearby Naval Undersea Museum, on Memorial Day. The sides were made in house, and the sandwiches were fresh, delicious & generous. The people working in the deli were also open & friendly. We had a lovely view of the water from our table, too!
