I love this place for happy hour!! Great menu with lots of options. This location is very spacious. Iinside dining w/a full bar, couch & firepit, and patio seating w/view). Service was great and attractive. Also lots of meter parking spots but there is a small parking next to the restaurant for free parking.Definitely recommended this restaurant if you've not been here

Duuude... this place is sweeeeet!!! On the covered patio we got to ogle some sweet boats, yachts docked.Great pour on my Maker's Mark Old Fashioned... portions were plenty and service was grrrrreat!!!#getchasome

Ketch Grill & Taps is better than expected. But when I learned the restaurant is owned by the Brigantine Group, the professionalism is not a surprise. The young man at the host stand was a bit confused, but happily an efficient female employee saved the day and seated me with affable efficiency. The interior dining room at Ketch has a wood-panelled sports bar feel. Better to select a table on the main patio, with its pretty view. The side patio seems less desirable and more like a place for a private party to be held. My waitress was Anna from Santa Cruz, California. She was very pleasant and was always present when I needed her. Although I rarely have a cocktail, I highly recommend the Mai Tai, originally invented by Trader Vic's. Considering the fact that the Ketch is located on Shelter Island, home of superb Tiki architecture, the Mai Tai seemed a perfect choice. And for a main course, you never go wromg with a fish, which is the specialty of the Brigantine Group.

We celebrated one of our daughters' birthdays at Ketch Grill & Taps on Shelter Island and it was a great experience.We reserved a spot on the outdoor patio, which offers stunning views of the pier boat dock and the Point Loma skyline. The setting made for a romantic family dinner.The staff were very accommodating, but the highlight was the food. We enjoyed steaks, pork sirloin, calamari, salad and cauliflower buffalo wings, all of which were zesty and delicious. To complement our meal, we had a pink drink and mojitos.The ambiance and breathtaking view created an outstanding celebration, making the experience well worth the price.

Great view of the marina, good food, great local beer selection. Got the shrimp andouille linguini that came with many shrimp, sauce was well flavored and not too thick. Great place on shelter island to walk after a meal

Another solid place to get some grub, drinks and watch people. All elements of quality food service were here at Ketch. Food was all enjoyed by our table and I enjoyed my second taste of Octopus from my second restaurant today. Why not? It's not like I eat octopus often enough to pass. Plus, I wanted to compare to the other restaurants in the area. The octopus was spot-on tender and flavor wise. Two of two for the day. Give Ketch a try. You wont be dissatisfied. Dicks

Perfect location for ending your day on the beach. Service was good and the food was awesome. The oysters were perfect! There is plenty of shade on the patio to keep the heat away. This could be a very good first date casual place.

My local friends have recommended Ketch for a while now and I just hadn't made it there on one of my visits, but this time I did! Sunday afternoon with my parents we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did! It wasn't too busy, we were seated on the patio quickly and had the best weather to sit on the patio overlooking the water.The Brunch menu is the only one offered on Sundays, so check it out before coming as it's different from the regular lunch or dinner menu. I was stoked to try the Avocado Toast and it was even better than expected. It was a hearty portion, no skimping here, and it tasted delicious as well.I stuck with water as I was jumping on a plane right after we ate, but next time I look forward to trying one of their many yummy looking cocktails.My parents (locals) said they'd definitely be back and look forward to trying Happy Hour and bringing friends back to enjoy the view and food.I look forward to coming back next time I visit and plan to bring the whole family!

Beautiful spot. Nice date night or happy hour spot as long as you can get parking haha. And if you're worried about being outside, don't worry! They have a nice heated patio! I was comfortable out there on a chilly bay night. Service was good, a little delayed and the waitress forgot to grab us a couple of requests here and there but still kind and welcoming. Most importantly good food at an affordable/appropriate price! That burger is bomb. The sweet potato fries were a good substitute.

We went here for HH and got a table right by the water, it was beautiful. Service was great and the food was excellent. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.
