Cute little noodle place that offers some delicious dishes. Service was quick and the servers were so nice and attentive. The place was minimal and very clean.I really enjoyed my sweet pork don and my friends were elated over their delicious noodle dishes! My dish was filling and really affordable. Excited to try more of their items next time.

I'm so glad they opened a mazesoba place around Boston!! The first time I've tried and enjoyed mazesoba was in LA, so it is a bit hard not to compare this to my experience there; however, for Boston, this is indeed one of the best. My S.O. and I love their curry cheese and yuzu shio mazesoba dishes. Lots of great flavor and toppings to enjoy. The noodle itself is also perfectly done. The best part is their chashu which is so tender. I also really enjoy the dessert option they offer -- passion fruit panna cotta! Service was quick and it's a nice spot for dates or just hanging with friends. Definitely will be coming back for more.

Sashimi of the Day: Salmon 5/5Takoyaki 4/5Tan Tan Mazesoba 4/5Yuzu Shio 5/5A casual atmosphere with good food, but pretty pricy. The Food~The salmon was pretty fresh with lots of meat, fatty, but not fishy. Nothing to complain about. The takayuki was hot and creamy, with tender octopus bits. The sauce wasn't overly sweet and was cool to look at as the flakes moved about. The Tan Tan Mazesoba had a tiny bit of spice, creamy, with the greens to keep it fresh yes savory. Afterwards, they offer rice to mix with the leftover sauce and the nuts felt a bit too much for the rice, but the pork went well with it. The Yuzu Shio had a slight bit of tang, with the yuzu really coming through. This was lighter than the tan tan and helped balanced the palette. The pork was also tender and juicy. With the rice though, it felt a bit too tangy. The logistics~There's plenty of parking around the area. The staff is nice and leaves you be. There's a lot of warm lighting and natural lighting coming from the windows. It was pricy though. Not sure if I'd come here on a regular basis, but great once in a while.

Really good spot with great flavors, we just walked in. Tried the Yuzu Shio (5/5), Mentaiko Cream Mazesoba (4/5 I think was too acidic/added too much acidity that day), and Pink Lady Maki (5/5 super yummy).

Looking for a foodie experience different than ramen and udon, this soba shop has blown me away and satisfied my craving and expectations! Kenzoku Mazesoba is a casual Japanese restaurant specializing in soba noodles and seafood plates and more. I came here at 5PM on a Thursday which was perfect for available seating and street parking. The menu had so many soba and sushi options, which I truly believe to be the best combination. The Mentaiko Cream Mazesoba caught my eye which included mentaiko, slow braised pork chashu, shisho, chives, garlic, and nori. I loved my bowl of goodness, I really enjoyed the Mazesoba! All the flavors were very intentional. The fun additional part of the experience is that a free bowl of rice is optional to enjoy every last ounce of sauce in the bowl. I had almost forgotten about this option that I read on the menu, but it didn't matter because the servers were really friendly in offering me the bowl of rice.

It was hard at first for me to try this place, because I wasn't honestly sure what to expect and from first glance it wasn't something I could see myself craving for but man was I wrong!! Love this sister restaurant of Futago and the decor and seating of this place were so aesthetic ! This brothless ramen is made with handmade noodles that are chewy and thick (less thick than udon but thicker than ramen noodles). Before mixing, I wasn't too sure how saucy the mazesoba was, but you gotta trust the process because everything came together once I mixed everything and behold my noodles were coated. I recommend adding vinegar (which is on the table) to your bowls to add some acidity to it! I got the Tan Tan Mazesoba and this was so addicting, creamy with a slight sweetness. I do wish there were more meat in my bowl since the ratio between the noodles and meat weren't too great but I still enjoyed it. I really wanted to get the chashu but I had some from my friend and it was so so flavorful!!!If you been meaning to check this place out, trust me and try it!! If you love dry noodles def come here

This restaurant is perfect for a hot summer day.Mazesoba is a dry(ish) noodle dish that is usually cold. The noodles here are handmade and super chewy and bouncy!I got the yuzu shio mazesoba and it came with a flavorful broth, pork, poached egg, greens, and more. I loved the citrusy flavor and it didn't feel too heavy. I just wish it was colder because the broth was a bit lukewarm. My friend got the mentaiko cream mazesoba and it was very creamy and heavy on the fish flavor. Super aromatic and bold in flavor so great if you like seafood! If you don't, I don't suggest it.What's super cool about this restaurant is that they give you a small cup of rice to mix in with your leftover broth! It's a perfect way to end the meal.

I've never had mazesoba before- I am a big fan! This new place was surprisingly not as busy as the other noodle restaurant next door during lunch hours, as we were immediately seated. The interior is small but lovely- bright and cozy and the plates were beautiful. I ordered the tan tan mazesoba and my friend ordered the shoyu. We were not sure how to eat it but luckily there were instructions on the menu. The meal was flavorful, not too heavy, and surprisingly more than I could finish in one sitting. The server was also kind in suggesting us to mix the leftover sauce in rice that they provide. Definitely a place worth to stop by for lunch or dinner.

I had this restaurant on my list to try for a while, and I finally made it there on a Friday evening. We walked in and had no issues getting a table. The interior is very welcoming, open, and there were quite a few tables and booths. We ordered the uni shooters, pink lady sushi roll, mentaiko cream mazesoba, and ten ten mazesoba. Everything was really good! The uni shooters were flavorful since it has ponzu sauce in addition to the sake. The pink lady roll was fresh and both the mazesobas were delicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy and the meat was tender and juicy. When you near the bottom of your noodles they offer a bowl of rice you can eat with the remaining sauce. Perfect if you love carbs! We will definitely return!

This place was so so good! I was craving noodles and heard this place recently opened, and had such a great meal here. Fortunately, there was no wait and the servers are super attentive and welcoming. We ordered the takoyaki, which was incredible! It came out super hot and fresh, and the inside was soft and delicious. I've had takoyaki at other places and I've noticed they tend to be still a little raw and undercooked on the inside, but the ones here were fully cooked and still soft. Highly recommend if you like takoyaki. For my noodles, I got the curry cheese with egg on the side. These noodles were super creamy with a savory cheese flavor. The portions were very large, too. I like that the greens added a nice crunch to the soft noodles. We also got some rice at the end, but honestly I was too full to finish. I definitely want to come back to try the other noodle dishes and some desserts!
