Chef Anthony Apolinar at Keelers is one of my favorite chefs in the valley, and I am also a big fan of Keelers Hospitality Group. From the food to the cocktails, they excel at hospitality and bringing diners comfort foods with a passionate twist. Not to mention, the cocktail menu designed by Adam Downing is as diverse as it is fun to sip!Why I love Keeler's Chef Anthony Apolinar? He brings a deep passion for food and people and a commitment to fresh, from-scratch cooking to Keeler's Neighborhood Steakhouse. The Keeler family, a family owned and operated hospitality group, offered Chef Apolinar a haven for his creativity across their three concepts. For the past nine years, he has revolutionized their menus, transitioning from pre-made dishes to fresh, from-scratch comfort foods. Chef Apo understood Cave Creek's love for "meat and potatoes," which inspired his "Keelers Loaded Baker." This behemoth baked potato impresses with tender filet mignon, bacon, and a symphony of cheeses. This exemplifies Apolinar's philosophy of elevating comfort food. "My job is to create dishes that evoke memories of childhood and comfort."A highlight of the menu is Apolinar's favorite cut, a 16-ounce prime rib eye. It bursts with flavor and tenderness. The brisket blend beef burgers with house-made buns sell over 2,000 a month.Apolinar's Mexican-American heritage shines through in dishes like the Baja Sea Bass, topped with crab meat and a cajun beurre blanc, in addition to a chunky cilantro crab cake finished with chipotle aioli. For dessert, try Apple Pie, which uses 10 lbs of Granny Smith applies for every pie, or the New York Cheesecake and Creme Brulee. As you sit at the bar, enjoying one of Keeler's incredible cocktails, you'll likely encounter the regulars. They come not just for the food and cocktails, but for a place that feels like home. This place is fantastic! Everything we've ever ordered is wonderful! We ate on the terrace by the bar late last night. Bartender was super kind and helpful - an amazing server! Salmon was incredible - as was the mozzarella and tomato salad, Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, and cheesecake! My cocktail was so fun - a gin gimlet with an orchid cube - so pretty! Request the bar terrace - great view!!! This is more upscale - bill was $200 with tip for three people. My only criticism was one of the tomatoes in our salad still had a produce sticker on it - not good. Kitchen oversight.

Our first time dining here and it definitely lived up to its reputation, not one disappointment. Our server was a true professional who paced our meal perfectly and was always attentive but never intrusive. We celebrated a special occasion for my mother in law and everything from the drinks, appetizers, entrees to dessert were enjoyable. Great ambiance, cool crowd (thanks to us!) But most importantly, the food was outstanding. We'll absolutely be back!

The absolute best place in Carefree/Cave Creek for dinner. In fact, I would skip most places in Scottsdale and head here.Service was excellent and professional. Maria was attentive and informative. Our salads, and main courses were cooked to perfection. It was nice to meet the staff including the owner. Don't pass this place up!

We stopped in with friends for dinner. James, our server, immediately stopped by and we ordered cocktails. He then gave us some delicious warm rolls. After asking James for his recommendations, we ordered a variety of dishes including French onion soup, mussels, chicken with buerre blanc sauce, two types of fish and a cheeseburger. Everyone said their food was awesome. A couple boxes were brought home because the portions were so large. A special shoutout to James. His knowledge, enthusiasm and skill were second to none.

Epic Fail today. Now, I have been here several times and have had great experiences with food and service. Today, my wife and I came for happy hour and I was so set on a Keeler's steak and an old fashioned and we sat on the patio for 20 minutes and after getting water and being told that our waitress Summer was going to come and serve us - it never happened. And by the way, only three tables were occupied as Happy Hour just started.I saw some servers come out and when a person who came in after us had a server come out to them and ask what they wanted - I got up and left.My wife told the hostess before we left about wanting a drink and she said she would tell our server. As we were waking out I told the hostess this was a fail and she told my wife she had just told our server to come see us. Too little too late!Obviously, they were far off the mark today. Often we have had Maria serve us and she is always great. In any event, I was gravely disappointed today. In my opinion it was an epic fail. I hope this doesn't happen again. I have been a happy and loyal customer and we even spent New Yeats Eve at Keeler's and danced on the upper deck and had a great time so I know they have the capacity.Hope this gets read and fixed!

The food was amazing! We celebrated my husbands birthday with a delicious steak dinner. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ended up splitting a filet and getting side dishes to share. Don't skip dessert! We tried the apple pie and it didn't disappoint.

Keeler's is definitely a neighborhood steakhouse and by that I mean that there are lots of locals that enjoy it.We came to celebrate a late Mother's Day celebration on a Monday night and it was packed!!!!Thankfully we had a reservation for the covered patio, which was of course covered but also had a mister with a fan to keep us all cool. They brought some bread for us to enjoy and it was delicious and warm.I ordered the filet with the scalloped potatoes and brussel sprouts. The filet was perfectly cooked to my liking (medium). It had a nice crust and the meat was so flavorful.I could've been a little happier with different sides (I think) - the brussel sprouts were okay - just seemed a tad bit over cooked and salty. The scalloped potatoes were pretty good - definitely what you would expect - buttery, cheesy.Overall, the food was good! Would definitely come back and try something else!
