This sushi house claims to be the best sushi in Edmonds, it's okay. But nothing special. They ha e lunch special where the price isn't so great. The sushi is just Fine. Of o had time to go to the city (10 miles to downtown) I would go there for sushi. The service was just okay as well. They weren't so attentive. Had to ask for more water, etc. They were nice but not attentive. Wouldn't recommend if you had time to go to the city (Seattle).

We came here with a very large group on a weekend at noon -- it was pretty slow already but we had called ahead so they were ready for us.The servers were all very friendly and checked in on us regularly! The fish itself was alright. They had very creative rolls that were all pretty tasty, but I did feel like the quality of fish could be better especially for this price point. We spent over $50 per person. I felt that the sashimi in the bento box was disappointing. That being said I love sushi so I was still very satisfied!

I love this place. Sushi chef was a delight to converse with. At first we came in with a reservation and were seated at a table. Once we ordered omakase from the menu, the wait staff offered us a seat at the bar since there was space and also knew we'd probably would prefer that. And we did. That's where we got to meet with the sushi chef and talked about the experiences we had with sushi around the area. The sushi pieces were great and just the overall experience of talking to the chef, enjoying great, and having great company with me was something I haven't had for a long time. That's been the experience that I've been missing for so long for omakase. I'm grateful for this dining experience.Did you know? This place used to be another sushi restaurant called Sushi Moto which was a long staying restaurant, but now we have Kazoku which has become more vibrant and livened up the place greatly. I do like the set up of this joint.

Finally had a chance to come back and I'm glad to see that their menu has a few additional items added. I also got to meet a couple new chefs, Robert and Jason who were so friendly and inviting!I loved their omakase and the miso soup that accompanies it is quite delicious. My other favorite dish of the nigh was the Ika Geso Karaage, which was lightly flavored and fried. If you've been thinking about it, go check them out!

Where do I even start. What a delightful place from checking in to dessert. It's been opened for 7 months and I hope it stays in business for a long time. Finally a nice sushi place in the neighborhood. My friend and I opted for the omakase dinner. Did not disappoint at all. The chef has been making beautiful meals for 40 years. Just wow. Each sushi came out amazing. The fish was so fresh! Enjoy the meal with a hot sake. What an experience. I highly recommend this place. Let's support local business. I'll be back again for sure.

I was so impressed with everything at this restaurant!! The service and quality of the food was so impressive.I went at around 8:30pm on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised that they had happy hour every day from 8:00-10:00! Their happy hour menu includes many appetizers and hand rolls for $1 off.Now the quality of the fish was so incredible. Every piece that we got was fresh and melted in our mouths. The pieces of tuna in the sashimi don were so thick. The nigiri had a perfect ratio of fish to sushi rice, and the chef puts a little bit of wasabi under the fish. The toro definitely was my favorite out of the pieces we got. I also quite liked how in the hand roll there are pieces of fish throughout the cone as well instead of it being just sushi rice. The service was also great. The servers were very friendly and offered good recommendations. They were also very easy to talk to. When watching the sushi chef work he was smiling pretty often and I could tell that he enjoyed doing this.Even before we fully left the restaurant my boyfriend said to me that we had to come back soon, so we definitely will!

This is a top notch spot for sushi in Edmonds! I came here with a friend on Friday evening around 5 pm and we were seated promptly. We tried different rolls and nigiri, including the cherished sushi set, Stevan roll, and others. I don't have any complaints, sushi was fresh and tasty. The service was also top notch too! Come early on a weekend evening; by the time we left there was definitely wait outside.
