Kawaii Sushi and Asian Cuisine - Peoria

Food was great and very fresh. Phone if the sauces felt heavy like a lot of Chinese food can feel. Our waitress was amazing and very helpful picking options. We will be back.

* Ambiance: There is only a few booths so the setting can be a little awkward if you end up in the middle tables. Also they close early on weekends. 9 pm but they have happy hours too. * Service: Good service. * Pricing: Average prices for a sushi place are reasonable. * Food Quality: The sushi rolls were good but the jalapeños were my favorite. * Unique Alcoholic Beverages: I had the lavender Martin. It's exciting to explore different flavors. * Jalapeños with Crab: Amazing flavors and generous portions

Absolutely amazing spicy garlic edamame!!! And the drinks on point and sushi is great! Staff were amazing too!!

We have been coming here for years and always leave happy! Kelly, the owner, is just a breath of fresh air! Her energy is so infectious and you can tell that she genuinely cares about her customers and their experiences! Oh, and the Sushi is also great!!

Love Kawaii sushi! The staff is so great and the vibe is very relaxing. This time we had the spicy tuna roll, California roll, and Golden California roll. All of these were super tasty! Great prices and really appreciated the amount of wine you get for a single glass!

Kawaii is one of the first sushi places we tried when we moved to Peoria and is forever a favorite lunch spot that we go to! We suggest you try the salt and pepper chicken but any of the sushi rolls! The owners are so fun and one of the things we love most about them is their monthly specials and new menu items. It's really authentic with an uplifting vibe!

My wife and I were in the mood for sushi. We wanted to try something new. I suggested Kawaii Asian Cuisine in Peoria for lunch. Family owned and operated the the staff was friendly and welcoming. I liked the decor they have a nice menu which is reasonable priced. We both had the sushi lunch, which includes a choice of soup or salad. The sushi was fresh and flavorful they were also working on their fall menu, and the chef gave us a sample to try. I wasn't able to use my Groupon falling victim to the fine print, which was not valid for Happy Hour or lunch specials, which I usually hate, but the sushi was delicious and worth another trip to use the Groupon correctly. Please support them and all our local businesses.

My wife and I just enjoyed a lunch special from Kawaii Sushi & Asian Cuisine in Peoria and it was excellent! We are very particular about our asian food prepared outside of our home, the oils used are very important being health conscious and Kawaii didn't miss a beat, it was low to no evidence of any oil in either the rice or entrée. The egg roll. egg drop soup was very good, along with our main course for lunch - Chicken Chop Suey and Kung Pao Chicken which were very delicious, well worth $12 for each lunch special. We will be back more often for lunch and will have to come in for dinner, the place has a beautiful ambiance to enjoy with your loved one or family, even just to go in for a drink and appetizer. The service is amazing and I love the orange chicken and the golden California roll and all the servers are so nice and friendly. The painting of the Koi fish is beautiful to look at while you relax with family and friends.
