Katrina Tacos

This food truck is simply the best. Not a lot of words needed to describe it but I love all that I've tried. They offer fresh guacamole with chips, burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Various proteins including grilled fish. The menu is pretty limited but what they offer is done right. They have covered seating to enjoy your meal or you can get it to go. Service is friendly and fairly fast considering everything is short order. Call ahead if you're in a hurry. It's a food truck so no real ambiance but the seating is just right, clean and plenty of parking. Give them a try.

I'm visiting from Oklahoma and this is hands down the best food I've had from any food truck in OK. I would say the food is pretty pricey BUT you are paying for what you get. $11 Burrito is the best bang for your buck, it's filled with rice and beans and hefty amount of meat of your liking. The burrito is thick and about 7-9 inches. Really good!The service is top tier, they are really nice joyful people. Ambience: The music is low but listenable, if it's too loud then ask for it to be lowered and they'll do such! It has covers so that the sun doesn't burn you. Over All I give this place a 10/10!

We were looking for a lunch option and saw all the stellar reviews for Katrina Tacos. We were also very impressed!It's sat up on the hill on the side of the i-17 access rd between Anthem Way and New River. Pretty unassuming location, but there are a couple signs on the road to point you in the right direction. When you get there, you park in the dirt lot. There are a few tables under a sun shade for you to sit and eat your food at. I know some earlier reviews said they only took cash but that has since changed. We used our card today with just a small surcharge (about 3% which is pretty typical of small businesses using credit/debit machines).We ordered three tacos; the carnitas, the pastor and the carne asada. Even those these are street taco size, the amount of meat that came in each taco was enough to double the order! The meat was flavorful on its own, but there were two sauces on the table to add if you wanted to. The tortillas had a nice crisp to the outside and held up well to the weight of the meat. They didn't turn into the soggy floppy corn tortillas that sometimes happens with the street taco size tortillas. We paired our tacos with a Jarritos grapefruit soda and a side of rice. Should've gone for some chips too, so maybe we will next time.

Awesome food, awesome service. This spot is a gem frfr! Super easy to order. They take cash (preferred) but also takes credit card.

Katrina's: A Mexican Culinary Journey. Katrina's Food Truck delivers an authentic taste of Mexico on wheels. The burritos are bursting with flavor, the street tacos are perfection, and the homemade guacamole is a game-changer. Each bite is a journey through Mexico's vibrant culinary landscape. Friendly service and I rate this five stars without a doubt.

Super easy to get to when traveling on I-17. Plenty of seating available, mostly shaded. Guacamole is fresh and portion is large. We've had both the shrimp tacos and shrimp quesadilla. Both delicious. The shrimp is good quality. Two salsas are available on the table. We've only been in the summer during afternoon, so most people ordered to go. I imagine this place gets busy in the evening and during cooler days. Service is excellent. Very kind!

This is the best food in the area. It might not look like much from the outside, but don't judge a book by its cover. I tried three different tacos, and all were great. I was shocked by how good the shrimp taco was--only ordered it because it was recommended. I hope this place does well in a tough market.

We've been here several times and never had a bad experience. The people are super nice and the food is top notch. The fish taco and fish tacos are excellent. I tried the chile rellano burrito. The rellano was delicious and I had leftovers for another meal. The chips and guacamole are a great shareable dish. The prices are reasonable too. Overall, a great little gem!

I love this place. Everything is homemade. Great quality, tons of protein in both tacos and burritos. I'm heading there right now.
