Love this restaurant! We finally came for dinner and a show. We kicked off my bday/parents anniversary week here and the food and chef were fantastic! So happy I finally did the teppanyaki table here because the food was great! Not salty. Fun show too. Can I say that this was better than Benihana? It was!!! The little treat at the end was so good! Pineapple dole whip. Yes! The restaurant is huge! But, make reservations as they do get busy.

Great bartender! She created a tasty cocktail for my child. They loved it and had another. The Canyon House Chardonnay did not have an agreeable flavor. She poured a different Chardonnay.Teppanyaki chef drowned the steak, our delicate sea bass with soya sauce. I have bragged about the amazing lightly buttered, crusty sea bass with salt and pepper. I was a little dubious when he was spraying the filet mignon and New York Strip with Soy, but my favorite sea bass was massacred. The manager too off 20% for our 3 sea bass orders.Next time, I will ask that no soy sauce touches my fish.Dole whipped soft serve was amazing as usual!

Cam here with a large group on vacation. We booked reservations in advance. They have options to book a private room or if you have 14 or less a large table for the group. Their entertainment coordinator was very helpful with getting our reservation booked. We did have a short wait when we arrived, but we were happy with the seating and to have a semi-private space for our group of 14. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of seasoning on some of the food. The sauces that are offered with the meal definitely helped to add flavor to the dish. Also, some of our shrimp was a bit over cooked. I like the added touch of the soft serve dessert that forms after your meal. I think this is a good spot in Scottsdale, especially if you have a group. Lot of seating and beautiful decor.

What a fun restaurant! Had dinner in the bar with a group of friends and loved the food and ambience. Started off with a lychee martini that was delicious. We also had the lobster dumplings, Korean steak tacos, friends with benefits sushi roll and steak fried rice. I loved it all. I think the lobster dumplings were my favorite though. It was a very busy Friday night and our poor server was definitely spread thin but still did a good job and was very kind. I want to check out happy hour, as it looked like a good deal and the bar was spacious and cool. The teppanyaki tables would be fun for a big group. One word of caution is the restaurant is buzzing and can get a little loud. Made for a fun atmosphere but something to be aware of.

Came for dinner on a Friday night. My friends and I did the hibachi and it was great! There was so much food! I just did the chicken but it was phenomenal, as well as the fried rice! Our hibachi chef was funny and entertaining, making sure everyone was involved in the cooking. The drinks were great too! The restaurant was busy, so make a reservation! Beautiful decor and layout! Can't wait to come back!

This last service we had at Kasai, they redeemed themselves after the last service we had. We got to our reservation early and sat at the bar for a couple drinks. The service was very quick and our server (super cute black bangs and choker) was so nice. When we were sat at the tepenyaki table our main server was just as attentive and nice. Our sushi was delicious, we got a spicy tuna roll and spider roll. 10/10 highly recommend. Our chef was amazing as always. It was a little loud and warm inside but that didn't bother our group.

Kasai was recommended to me by a friend, so I thought what a great place to bring my boyfriend for his birthday. It was incredible!! We visited on a Wednesday evening (without a reservation). As you walk up to the door it gives classy, upscale vibes. I really loved how we were greeted, and sat as soon as we walked in the door. Our server was very attentive, and made sure all of our needs were met. I ordered the DBL Espresso Martini to drink, and as a first timer I can honestly say it was TOP NOTCH! Now I know this is a teppanyaki restaurant but the sushi was out of this world! The Cougar Roll was sooooo delicious! I honestly want to go just for that. We had an amazing experience as our dinner was being prepared, and I would absolutely send anyone & everyone to Kasai.

We showed up for our reservation early (by about 40 minutes), but there was plenty of room in the bar area to grab a cocktail while we waited. After a short wait- we were walked over to the teppanyaki table. There were three of us, and two separate couples who had already been seated. Our first thought was: "Are they really going to try to fill ALL these seats??"There were about 9 chairs lined up around the table with zero room in between. All the chairs were crammed up against one another- ZERO arm room or space.Thankfully, they decided not to seat anyone else at our table (or no one else was available to seat) and we 86'd the remaining two chairs. Whew. Our server, Seth, was awesome...and fast AF. One minute he's standing next to you taking your drink order- then you blink- AND BAM, he's back with your water. Seth is either an Olympian...or the butler from Mr. Deeds.Anyways, needless to say, Seth definitely was on top of his game.We had the pleasure of getting Chef Jose for our table. I have to emphasize PLEASURE; because he was honestly the best teppanyaki chef I've ever had. No joke.Great energy, super clever, hilarious, and he did the BEST show for all of us! There were a few times he legit had me dying laughing. Such a great time!Aside from Seth providing excellent service (in record time!), Chef Jose would be the reason I would come back to Kasai. The food was delicious and flavorful. Our squad all went with the same selection: New York Strip Steak (double- no shame) and scallops. So good!Like I said, I'll be back again. And shout-outs to Chef Jose and the 100-meter Olympian gold medalist, Seth! You guys were the real MVPs.*Note: I tried to also take a photo of Seth, but he was just too fast. All the photos just showed a blur.*

Kasai was a wonderful experience. I have been to many hibachi style restaurants, but this definitely was an amazing experience. I am not sure if it's called different things everywhere, but here they called it Teppanyaki and not hibachi.I throughly enjoyed how interactive, cool, and funny the chef was. He was making jokes and made the experience enjoyable. I've never seen anyone put the plates on fire, so I was happy to see a new trick!Starting with the Mushroom Soup, it was very delicious. To me, it tasted like the broth of oriental Ramen noodles. Simple but still tasty. The house salad was okay, was not my favorite, but I'm not a huge salad person anyways. The fried rice was amazing and it tasted great. It was perfectly seasoned and the right amount of everything in it. There were a lot of different items ordered by table, but in my order I got the Filet Mignon and Shrimp. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection and was EXTREMELY tender. It melted in my mouth. The shrimp was clean and pretty decent in size too. The fried rice with the steak and shrimp, was CHEFS KISS.The meal was ended with a Pineapple flavored ice cream. I'm not the biggest fan of pineapple, but it was a nice way to end. It wasn't overly sweet, so that was pleasant.Overall, I would go back as the waiters were very attentive and the interaction from the staff members/chefs was enjoyable. Definitely would recommend.
