The lumpias were freshly fried, it was so good!
Don't know what this is called but it was very good with white rice, it reminds me of a stew.

So I'm here with my family in San Diego trying to find a good filipino restaurant and my goodness we've found it. Whe. Your wife tells you "we are coming back tomorrow to take it back home in SFV" then you know she loved it too. The place has a little mini market if you want snacks and it looks like very soon they will have a station to make Halo Halo. Lyn was very friendly and very accommodating to my family. She was was kind enough to let my small dogs come inside. Indeed a small variety of food but with incredible quality and delicious Tinola that although served small it is the best Tinola I have ever had in my life.I now know where to come if I'm ever back in San Diego.

Stopped by here for lunch and everything we picked was delicious! Pancit, fried tilapia, mechado, pork adobo, dinuguan. All these were freshly made and my kids gobbled it all up! Perfect spot for a quick casual Filipino food fix.

Pancit! And friendly staff Lenn. I order my catering Filipino dishes here, All. The. Time. It's a hole in a wall place in National city but my friends, clients and family always suggest this place when they crave for pancit and other Filipino food. Ambiance is ok, it can get really hot during the summer. They also have some Filipino goodies/snacks for sale that reminded me of a sari sari store. Please come and support a small business that are thriving. I recommend this place.

I've been craving Kare Kare and finally got some. I'm upset because I found 5 pieces of hair in my food. The photo below is 3 pieces out of the 5 I found in total I feel disgusted and disappointed because I heard good things about this dish from this place.

I was in the area and stopped in for Filipino food. The staff were pleasant and the food didn't taste bad it was just cold. I came in early afternoon, I am worried that it had be sitting out for awhile... My stomach is hurting after that meal, I am crossing fingers that I do not have food poisoning

If you find this fil restaurant "SO GOOD" then you are not from SD. This restaurant used to be famous for the KARE KARE......a decade ago. Like the other reviewers said their kare kare is only PORK. I gave this place 4 chances (i know i know) because they were good waaaayyyy back. All those 4 chances failed! Super oily and chewy lechon kawali. Filipinos enjoys a little salty food but not salt water salty. You can really tell that they only reheat some of the foods. This place can recover again if they sell it. You can tell they just cook and dont care how it would taste like. Its just sad that this place went downhill. A decade ago it was Titas Kitchenette VS Karihan. Just sad for this place. For me, nothing beats Titas Kitchenette.
