Zone 6 Fitness

I have no idea why this gym doesn't have 5 stars! I have been going to Zone 6 for 6 months now. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful! The gym is always clean, has new equipment, and continues to get more equipment. I LOVE the vibe of this place. It's modern, refreshing, and not only are the staff friendly and positive, but the people that go there are friendly as well. I usually workout alone, but I have had several occasions where people have offered me to be a spotter. I love this place! If you're looking for a gym for your new year resolution this is the place for you! People are non-judgmental and are willing to help you out. Even if you're just starting out or you're looking to be a barrel-chested-freedom-fighter like myself then Zone 6 is the place for you!!! Give it a chance and see for yourself!

My daughter team sign up for their indoor fitness They loved it and hopefully will get to it again this coming September. Good place for exercise.

The layout and space is amazing. One of the best gyms north of the river. Half the gym is dedicated for personal training and I love to see that. But they don't utilize the space very well. Not a lot of classes going on. If I had that area to train people, from the moment I open to when I close I would have sessions going on. They have the tools to be great, now they just need the leaders to get there .

This is one of the coolest gyms I've been to.. EVER. Every single detail has been thought through and "impressed" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel.The location is amazing, membership is so affordable, and they have equipment and training programs that I haven't seen anywhere else in the city. Most importantly, this place is FUN. From someone who never worked out to the elite athlete - kids and adults - you will find something here for you!

I have fallen in love with Zone 6 and the culture they have created! I started working out in March at this gym and now recommend it to everyone I know in NKC! The employees are all so friendly, especially Jamie and Jordan! Always plenty of machines and spaces to workout!

Unfortunately this gym went from the best in KC to the worst. They offered free les Mills group X classes for the 2 years I was a member, then stopped. They didn't reach out to any members for feedback. They screwed over instructors that were like our family. It's sad to see a culture change like that...Recently, a fellow member and friend of mine was contacted by Zone 6 asking how she felt about a new service they offered, when she was honest with them about the change they hung up on her! I don't recommend this gym to anyone. They are just money hungry and don't care about the quality of service or experience for the customer. I recommend Genesis, Aurora, One Light, GYM KC, any others but please don't give you money to this facility. They suck.

OK so I originally joined the free 21 day challenge and I have to admit that I was like "ugh there's a lot of high-fiving and cheery greetings here" which is not totally my thing BUT after joining and now working out there for a few months, I catch myself handing out high-fives and nodding at the other regulars. I joined for the classes and those have been AMAZING - great instructors, good participation level, lots of choices. The facility itself is brand spanking new so it's super nice and doesn't smell like a gym yet. Prices are reasonable and I didn't have to sign any contracts that had the words "my immortal soul" tucked away in them. If you're looking for a new gym, definitely give this place a try!

The owner and staff at Zone 6 is EVERYTHING! If you're looking for knowledgeable trainers & instructors and a fun environment that will motivate you--pick Zone 6!

man this gym is amazing. it's got every machine you can dream of times two! it's got something for everyone, from low intensity to the upmost highest level. the ONLY things that could make it better if it was 24 hrs (I know that's a lot to ask for but people with a work schedule like mine can't make it some days) and if it had a sauna or steam room... otherwise tho it's amazing!!

Honestly , zone 6 sucks. Not the infrastructure, the gym is very nice but the people that own and run the the gym are the problem. I could bash them left and right for the unethical and slanderous things they have said and done to members and employees, but I won't. So I'll say this, if you have any sort of good conscious and support businesses who treat their members and employees with dignity, respect, and class ... don't go here. It's quite the opposite.
