I would have to say this is a great place to find a wine fitting your pallet even if you are not a wine drinker. The options seem endless and the tastings are very reasonably priced. We have been here a few times and have always found pleasant and friendly staff. On one occasion we went for "open mic comedy" and it was a blast. Not only were there laughs but there were also a plethora of wines available to try. We ended up walking out happy with the evening and a few bottles for later consumption. If you are looking for a gift that is not that same old thing, a bottle or two of this local, homemade, and very tasty goodness is sure to please. One last note: If you are lucky and can talk fast enough, the basement is a treat both in the way of wine making and local history.

My sisters and I stopped by for some wine. They offer complimentary wine tasting from a selected list with a purchase and a $7 any 5 wines tasting. Additional tastings are $1 per wine. We did the complimentary tasting of the month. The tasting area is small and intimate. Our party of three was the perfect size, but there are areas that accommodate larger groups. The wine slushy they sell was my favorite part and it's so delicious. You can get it in a to-go cup or jug, currently. My sister likes a more dry wine and she bought the remembrance. I like sweeter wines and went with the Blackhawk Blackberry. The POS went down while there so we had to pay with PayPal but the professional frustration showed was amazing. We loved the whole experience and I can't wait to bring my other sister back because WHO DOESNT LOVE WINE??? And the to-go slushy is life. Also you don't have to go, you can enjoy everything there if you want.

This is a quaint little shop run by people passionate about wine. This is not a location for mass, large company produced wine. If, however, you are looking for a unique and delightful experience with delicious wines (nicely priced, as well) made with local produce, then this store needs to be on your list. Having tasted a nice sampling (free with purchase) I particularly enjoyed the smoothness of their red (no overwhelming tannin taste at all). Their specialty wines, from watermelon to apple pie flavors, were delightfully subtle and pleasing to the palate as well.Again, I would like to emphasize their use of local produce, which enhances the flavors by being "farm to table" fresh. Although this means their varieties are seasonal, you'll just have to frequent their establishment multiple times throughout the year! You will enjoy each visit!

What a pleasant find in Leavenworth! Farm-to-table, Mom and Pop winery that hosts a wide variety and unique collection. Z&M is a great choice to host a function, hang with friends, or join one of their many ongoing community engagement activities. The interior of the store maintains its historical charm. Z&M takes advantage of the farmer's market across the street to create new types of wines depending on the season. Military personnel: ask for a discount! Highly recommend.

Hello all! My husband and I were in town over the summer helping our son with a recent move when we decided to check out the local scenery. We visited a local restaurant and the Z&M Twisted Vines winery (love the name) for a taste of the town. The shop is beautifully decorated with friendly service, but the wine itself, is...lacking. The vino, at best, is a cross combination of vinegar and tart, while being extremely expensive and considerably over priced. The flavor combinations (Remembrance is just one that I can remember) did not mix well or leave a favorable impression. Unfortunately, the wines we tasted left us with a headache (too much sugar?) and the hopes the winery continues to improve. Here's to hoping!

A great wine experience! I've never tried a coffee or jalapeño infused wine before, but I did here! Brian and Gena, the owners, are some funny and outgoing folks and seem to truly love what they do and are willing to share what they know, plus this is a vet-owned business. Stop by for a tasting from a good sized list. All wine is made and bottled in house. We'll be back.

My wife and I visit a lot of cideries as we travel. We found this one and was one of the best. The ciders were spot on. Not too sweet. They had just the right amount of flavor. Bryan and Gina were amazing people. Bryan severed our country and we appreciate his service. He is passionate about his country and is now putting that passion in his ciders and wines. Stop by and visit them. They are both wonderful and we can't wait to comeback to town to see them.

Just left this great winery earlier today for a little wine tasting with my parents and my sister and I. My parents live here in Leavenworth and my sister and I live in California and Florida. This place is so neat, the wine is fantastic and meeting Gina (Bryan's household 6 and owner) is worth the whole experience even if you don't like wine at all! But if you do, I say try the Hellfire and my Dad enjoyed the Watermelon wine. Whether it's coffee, lemonade or just drinking in general, go and support these twisted people! You'll be glad you did!

We did a wine tasting and the woman who served us did not wear a mask that properly covered her nose and mouth. Then she coughed into her hand and did not wash her hands before touching our cups again.
