Overall, the atmosphere was very welcoming. The server was very helpful in showing us her favorite menu items and what was popular. The drinks that we ordered came quickly, and it was a fun addition to have them shaken tableside. I ordered the bistro steak medium rare, and when it came out, it had the consistency of a tire. The server was very polite and helpful in returning it to the kitchen for a new steak. In the future, the apps and drinks are a win, but I will need to find a different entree.

My husband and I ate here for lunch on Sunday. It's a beautiful restaurant, but was almost empty. For an appetizer, we ordered the baba ghanoush. It was so delicious!!! Unfortunately, it and the entree side of fries were the only things that were delicious. For our entrees, I ordered the roasted turkey sandwich, which consists of grilled sourdough bread, turkey, provolone, bacon, blue cheese aioli, lettuce, and tomato. The bread had a Parmesan cheese crisp-like disc stuck on it that really tasted funny. The rest of the sandwich was not very flavorful. As stated above, the fries were delicious. My husband ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, which consists of spinach, artichokes, and Parmesan cheese on toasted sourdough with a side of tomato bisque. He could only eat a couple of bites and said he had to stop because it was gross. I have had spinach artichoke dip-like grilled cheese before and, when I tasted his, it is the worst I have had. The Parmesan spread was like glue and overwhelmingly rich. The tomato bisque soup was bland. My husband and I later were sick. The YaYa's in my home state is ten times better than this one. We won't be back.

I've been to YaYa's several times and unfortunately am usually underwhelmed. This dinner was no different. I must say though, our server, Isabel, was out of this world! She was just fantastic! Very attentive, helpful, pleasant, and friendly. They were super packed (Friday night) but she was always stopping back. Water never was empty on the table and she got drinks replenished quickly. We had a rez but still had to wait 20 mins for the table. I understand it's Friday night and all, but waiting 20 mins to me seems excessive. When we got to the table, Isabel got our drink orders quickly. I do like that they bring the wine to the table and pour you a taste if you're doing by the glass so you can make sure it's what you want. Usually have pretty good pours as well which is nice. Food got ordered and they brought out the bread and baba ghanoush. The bread is great but the baba to me is always a bit too oily. This time was no different. Food came out pretty quickly, and the food is usually my drawback. I'd ordered the scallops which had a crab risotto with it. The first bite was super fishy - and not good fishy. There were also some small black flecks throughout that were crunchy. They were definitely not supposed to be there. Couldn't tell if it was burnt crab shell or even part of the pan itself (pretty sure it was the pan). The scallops were cooked well, but between the overly fishy flavor and the crunchy black flecks, it just threw the entire thing off. The rest of the table said they enjoyed their dishes, but I'm usually striking out whenever I order. It is loud when it's busy. If you have a party larger than 4 you likely won't be able to have a convo with the other side of the table. Overall not a bad place with excellent wait staff. I've just never been wowed by the food.

If you can get a reservation to eat in one of the outdoor igloos on the patio for the holidays, I highly recommend it! It was warm and toasty inside, and our service was great despite the restaurant being extremely busy. If you get there early enough, you can eat and drink from the happy hour menu. The regular menu is a little costly, but those who ordered from it were happy. I definitely do not recommend the chocolate martini holiday drink... I love chocolate, but we all thought it was icky! Our server said I could substitute any beverage I wanted, at the same price, saying their goal was to please their diners! A good time was had by all of us in our own little private room igloo!

YaYa's bar service is always top-notch, and their food is so good. The menu offers a great variety, and you can never go wrong with the baba ghanoush. I like to ask them to push the bread back in the oven once they think it's done for some extra bake and a little black on the bread. If you want something classy without a hefty price tag, YaYa's Bistro certainly fits the bill.

Went here for the first time and I loved it! They have a beautiful patio we sat on the patio. Service was SO great. I was very impressed with how good the service was. I LOVED their small plates especially the gnocchi and the shrimp is a must. Their sea scallops, lamb chop and their popular dish the campo Kondo chicken were all so good. I will def be going back. Went for dinner but would love to also try their brunch

A contemporary bistro with an upscale menu and ambiance to match. We were able to reserve a room in the back for a special birthday celebration and they were helpful in coordinating that. After the surprise was executed, the waitress brought out delicious freshly baked bread. She was playful and kind, but the bread was unfortunately the best thing she delivered from the kitchen. The waitress suggested bringing out some appetizers while we waited for some more friends to arrive. We said 2-3 is plenty and she brought 5 - Hummus and Pita, Mushroom Toast, Chicken Piadini, Beef Carpaccio, and Calamari Fritto. It was more than we asked for and aside from the mushroom toast, was very underwhelming. Then for my dinner I ordered the pair of Bistro Steak and Wild Mushroom Ravioli with shrimp. The steak was well cooked but the dish lacked flavor and was very one note. The pasta was delicious. Al dente ravioli lathered in a luscious cream sauce. For the price however, I wouldn't consider ordering that combo again. We racked up quite a bill with all the drinks and the food that we (mostly) ordered. You can't anticipate free things, but considering the tab and the fact they they knew we were celebrating a birthday, I am a bit surprised they didn't bring a free dessert or anything to emphasize their service. Certainly an above average restaurant, but it's not cheap and don't expect the food to blow you away.

This place is fine. My family comes here because there's a large room we can rent out for when we all come into town. I'm vegan and from seattle, my brother-in-law is vegetarian, and this place can accommodate dietary restrictions (sort of). There's basically one vegan options -- hummus and bread (it's actually very good), Greek salad without cheese, and then they make me some pasta with red sauce and veggies (not on the menu). My cousin is gluten free and they got her some meat and veggies. The vegetarian can eat risotto off the menu, but when I asked about the cauliflower steak I was told there was chicken stock in the sauce (?!?), might want to double check on that bc it seems like it's vegetarian based on the menu description. My cousin's steak once came out way too undercooked and she sent it back. I don't think anyone's been really blown away from the food, and I personally think it's probably a little overpriced for what you get. To his credit, Brandon, the guy who serves us in the separate room every time, is incredibly patient and helpful and answers all our questions and deals with us when we move tables and are just generally chaotic.I think there's two side rooms you can reserve, and one time when we were there the one next door had very loud music and cheering -- we discovered it was a 21st birthday with a belly dancer, so I guess there's that.

Great service and food. Slightly older crowd. I'll go again because it's worth it. The patio during the summer is great as well.
