What does one do for breakfast when everyone and their mom is at Mildred's and the wait for food is 45 minutes at Banksia? Please go across the street to Wrap It Up!!! As a frequenter of the library who can't seem to function without a breakfast sandwich on the weekend, this is a predicament I find myself in often. The great news is that Wrap It Up is lightning fast with service and delicious! If you're paying with card, you can use a tablet at the back of the restaurant to order, which makes it super easy to pick all your toppings. If you're paying with cash, you can order at the counter and walk along the line to pick. For breakfast, you can build your own sandwich, tacos, or burrito! Tons of topping options! The portions are huge for cheap! And they have just about every meat option you could think of for lunch and dinner. The sandwich and tacos were DELICIOUS. And everything came out super quick. The owners are the best part of eating here. They are so sweet and helpful and happy to be there. They ran out of potatoes when we went, and they offered us a substitution of a huge portion of rice and salsa instead! They checked on us several times to make sure everything was tasting great. Can't wait to come back here often! The parking situation is a little challenging I'm sure, but hack - park at the library parking garage, grab your food to go, eat on the rooftop deck of the library, and validate 1 hour of free parking!

I live so close to this place but have never tried it. Today I did and mot sure why it took me so long. This place is a gem! If paying with credit card, you cam use a device to order and then select all the ingredients you want. Love this.I ordered a chicken burrito with pretty much all the fixings, salsa verde, and added avocado. So delicious! Not necessarily inexpensive but the portions are HUGE. Easily could be 2 meals (well if I wasn't so hungry after yoga today). And I chose to not have it covered in nacho sauce but that's an option as well. Can't wait to try out more. I hear the breakfast tacos are the jam!

Sounds like a fast food place, but it's anything but. Awesome service from the couple working and even offered me an extra taco while I waited for my fresh baked cookie. Some of the best tacos I've had. Beef, pastor, chorizo...all amazing. And don't pass on dessert either...the cookies are amazing. Don't think twice...just go

Visited for brunch on a Saturday morning. When nearby spots were packed, here it was nicely chill. We ordered breakfast at the kiosk; lunch is available about 10:30. Even though they weren't busy, our order still took about 10 minutes per person because it was made fresh and there were only 2 employees. Both employees visited us to ask how everything tasted, and they were very friendly. The food tasted very good and the portions were fair for the cost. Compared to locally owned Tex-Mex spots, you should be very satisfied with the quality and service.

Executive summary: Wrap It Up makes the best breakfast tacos I've had outside Austin and they're better than a lot I've had in Austin.I admit that Austinites are obsessed and even a bit snobby about the abundance of great breakfast tacos in our city. I rarely eat them outside Texas because I'm inevitably disappointed. Well, Wrap It Up does not disappoint! My wife and I randomly came across this restaurant on a one-night stay in KC. It's an unassuming place with a sign that says A Tex Max Grill. We decided to give it a shot because we saw they serve breakfast tacos, not breakfast burritos that you usually see outside Texas.First off, the owners (husband and wife, I think) are super friendly. They greeted us when we walked in and asked how our morning was going. We said we wanted breakfast tacos, not burritos, and they gave us a sheet of paper with all the available ingredients. They said select the ingredients we want and fill out a sheet for each taco. My wife got egg, sausage, cheese, pico de Gallo and the medium salsa on flour tortilla. I filled out two sheets - egg/potato/cheese on flour and spinach/mushroom/pico on corn. I asked if they had any fresh fruit and they said they didn't.No sooner had we sat down than the owner came out with a plate of pineapple chunks and orange slices. He had used some of the fresh fruit they use for other tacos (pineapple for al pastor) and made me a plate. Wow, so thoughtful and the fruit was great. The tacos were taking awhile to come out and then we realized they were cooking them to order. When the owner brought them out, we were surprised to see that an order includes 2 or 3 tacos! So my wife had three fresh, hot tacos and I had five (three with egg and two with the mushroom/spinach). They were wonderful. All the ingredients hot and freshly cooked. And the salsa was fantastic. The hot was actually hot. A lot of tacos fall flat because of bad salsa. Not here.We told the owners how good they were. The husband said it's because they always make the salsa fresh from scratch with the best ingredients, organic whenever possible. The corn tortillas were also wonderful, very authentic and rustic tasting. They were clearly not store bought and the wife confirmed they are made locally with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. The owners were so friendly and we talked about food and tacos for at least 10 minutes. They even have us a free freaky-baked cookie to take away.As if the great flavors and amazing service weren't enough, the prices were incredible. $8.75 for an order of 4 ingredient tacos that includes 3 tacos. What a great value. I really can't praise Wrap It Up enough. Not sure when we'll get back to KC but this restaurant is one of the things I'll be looking forward to!

There's a reason this little shop survived COVID, the ensuing recession, getting booted from their food court, and now having their own place. It's AMAZING. Their regular menu items are all fresh and delicious, their specials will change your LIFE! (I'm having the Wednesday Mexican Soup right now). Just do it.

Everything was perfect. You build your own burritos at the kiosk then they make it to order. Owners were super friendly and offered great recommendations. They were also very generous with the avocado, which you don't see often. We didn't get coffee, but the one that I saw come out looked better than most coffee shops! Only "downside" is that its in the heart of the city, so parking might be a bit difficult if its a busy day. We will definitely be back!
