Worlds Of Fun Village

Got in super late driving from Wisconsin. We had a Uhaul with a vehicle on a trailer plus another vehicle. I couldn't find the cottages or guest service office Because it was dark, but there were two security guards that were beyond helpful. He had us follow them to the correct location and checked us in without any hassle. He made sure we parked our uhaul close to our cottage and knew we were exhausted and told us to get some rest. The level of compassion he displayed really sets the bar for services. I wish I had gotten his name.The cottage itself is VERY clean, super cute!! Wish we were staying longer!!

A very nice RV park located in a convenient location just a few minutes from the ballpark and downtown. The park is adjacent to the water park and amusement park. The sites are fully paved, long and each has a picnic table. The park has a nice pool area next to the check in buildings. That building also has the bathrooms, showers and laundry. The wifi was strong and reliable. This park was above and beyond as far as price versus amenities. All of our reviews and pictures at thegilliamsisland.

Good area to put your camper for the overnights when you plan on going to worlds or oceans of fun. Or just an over night stay .people checking in need better training. The phone number listed, no one ever answers although it's always ringing and they answer it when you are there.

The biggest waste of money. Stayed here last week, terrible accommodations. First off the cabin is tiny, it has 1 tiny bedroom you can barely move in, the bed was so uncomfortable, then there were 2 futons in the living area. You get 2 box tv's, yes the big box backs and only about a 19 inch screen with downgraded cable with maybe 10 channels. There is a frog infestation, i found a frog when i was taking a shower. The bathroom has no room to move in. They do not restock your room, i had to ask for toilet paper. The pool is filthy, leaves and debris covered the bottom. This cabin does not justify the outrageous price they charge. First and last time. Will never stay here again.

Have stayed at the cabins and RV park, love the location. The teenagers can stay later at the park and walk back. You can eat at home base, bring a crockpot and dinner is waiting! Take drinks with you from your cooler. RV park is much more economical, the pools and bathrooms are clean with good showers. Have a blast every time!

We stayed at the RV park and LOVED it! Definitely one of the nicest that we have stayed in. The lawns are well manicured, every spot has a trash can, a picnic table and grill. There is even a really well taken care of pool to use! Water pressure, dumps and electric all worked flawlessly. I used the showers they offer and they were very clean and had excellent water pressure. They even have cable TV hookup!! The internet wasn't the BEST but it did the job. Would absolutely recommend this RV park for anyone!

Definitely the nicest RV park in the KC area that we have found. It is on the same property as Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, but you don't have to be at the amusement parks to use the campgrounds.The RV spaces are decently sized, very level, and nicely paved and landscaped. Most of the slots are pull-through, and all can acommodate a 40' RV and two cars with no problem. The property has a pool, hot tub, marginally useful shop (snacks and fanny packs, no camp gear), functional free wifi, and late office hours.The property also has several cabins and cottages (a la KOA) available to rent, but I haven't checked any of those out yet.There isn't a lot of stuff to do or see within the 1-2 mile radius aside from the park. But it is a short drive to downtown, the ball parks, several casinos, and any number of tasty restaurants.The RV park is seasonal, in concert with the amusement parks. Rates aren't the cheapest and they don't have any long-term rates that we have found. They also don't really encourage long-term stays, but no one had any issues with our month-long stay.What always wins us over, in addition to proximity to WoF, is the hot tub. Few things are more appreciated after a grueling day of driving or storage unit wrangling or park hopping than an evening soak with a nice view.

We've been coming here for years. It's the only campground in the area and we have family to come visit. Most things are good about this campground. Our lot facilities have always worked. (Cable not so much) Their pool is very nice and has good depth for different age groups. Lounge chairs and picnic tables for snacking. But since Covid the Hot Tub hasn't worked. Every summer they give excuses like it just broke. It's been 3 YEARS and they still act like they are waiting for a service appointment. It does seem like the office crew is more friendly and helpful. Maybe since it's not just teenagers? Camping here is NOT a bargain by any means. For $60+ a night I'd expect the hot tub to get fixed.

This is a very nice, well kept RV park in Kansas City. Fully paved sites, picnic table and trash can at each site. Pool was very clean and had a life guard, which you don't see often at RV parks.My husband hesitated to stay here because he was concerned about 'noise', being it was in an amusement park and thought there were be a lot of kids running around. However, that was not the case.The staff was very accommodating and helpful and available until around midnight, I believe.We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We only stayed one night but could easily see that an extended stay would have been wonderful!! VERY clean and well maintained! Great sites with trees for private separation. We will absolutely be back!!
