What a wonderful B&B!The Woodstock Inn was an absolute delight. The decor was cozy and exactly what you want. We met the innkeeper and the manager, both were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. We peaked in the other rooms and the were absolutely remarkable. You can see the care that is taken in each room for comfort and relaxation. On the first floor there is a room full of games, books and dvds you can use. The tea/coffee bar was also very cute and had mugs you could buy. The breakfast that was served was fantastic and the cookies that are served in the afternoon are to die for!We will definitely be visiting again, just maybe after COVID so we can have some more to do in town.Happy relaxing Yelpers!

Last weekend my daughter and I hosted an 80th birthday get together for my wife at the Woodstock Inn. For us, the fact that we could rent the entire facility for the week-end closed the deal on the Inn. In all, thirteen family members came from Chicago, its suburbs and our son and his family from Nebraska. The Inn was beautiful, clean and inviting. The staff prepared wonderful breakfasts for us on Saturday and Sunday. We had a wonderful stay utilizing the comfortable living room and dining room for our visit. We had the ability to be close together in a way that no hotel could have provided. The staff was very accommodating to the children and made everyone feel welcome There are lovely shops and eateries about a mile away in Independence. We had a wonderful dinner at an Italian restaurant in the downtown area of Independence. If you're a history buff, this is Harry Truman's home so there is a lot about him in the area. The Inn is near Kansas City, but we never ventured away from Independence.

My friends and I were in St. Louis for a weekend adventure before I had to head home to Georgia. We like to pick fun places to stay, rather than box hotels, because we both enjoy character. Woodstock had plenty of character, and comes complete with a resident cat. :) We were able to enjoy cuddles and snuggles as we watched TV in the evening, and we had a nice cool room to come home to after a late night dinner on an unusually hot night. We look forward to starting at Woodstock again in September, hopefully, because we every much enjoyed the room, the breakfast, the conversation with the innkeeper, and the area.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Inn... the house is spotless, cozy and feels like home. The ladies of the house, are like family and cook an amazing menu for breakfast daily-even the fruit is perfectly cut and fresh... and they made cookies each evening of our stay. The linens smell fresh and are a nice quality. We loved the antique decor and convenient location. Special thanks to all the ladies at the Inn, you made our trip even more magical! God bless you all!

I had a really lovely stay here on my cross-country road trip. Pam is warm, helpful, and attentive. She offered advice about where to eat and made us feel very welcome. She served us hot breakfast (eggs, fruit, muffins, and coffee!) at exactly the time we had requested, and even had gluten-free muffins at the ready for me. The rooms are small, but very sweet and totally clean. Highly recommended!

HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! A few months ago when we stopped to check the Inn out we were only thinking about our honeymoon, as we had planned to marry in our Pastor's office, but there was something about the history, beauty and simplicity here that we fell in love with. We agreed we had found something special and called back to secure the place for our big day before we were even a mile away.We appreciated Mark's patience and flexibility with all of the planning that went into our day. He helped make it so special and we look forward to returning in the future. - John & HeatherPS. The Breakfasts are SOOOOO Good!
