This place is in a remodeled house. Great service even though it was super busy! The food was amazing. It was comfort food served at someone's home. It feels like you're having dinner at a friend's house.

We searched Yelp for the nicest restaurant in Boonville, and this was it. Hannah served us (among other very young servers) but she did fine. I had the Flat Iron Salad (grilled steak, cheese and other basic salad ingredients). The steak was good but wish it would have been a little more tender. I didn't care for its dill horseradish dressing, but Hannah brought me their poppyseed dressing which was delicious--house made and onion based. My husband and I shared the praline bread pudding for dessert (fantastic!). The building is a cute old house and the dining rooms are cozy and charming with a lot of historical memorabilia all over the walls.

Brad and his staff always give the best service. The specials are always different and SO good. His mom makes the best desserts too! A perfect spot to sit with your spouse, family, or business partner and grab a bite to eat.

Had the Flat Iron steak with a baked potato and my husband had the steak quesadillas. Both were great, spoke with the owner who was personable, attentive and friendly. This is a gem of a place that we highly recommend!

Simply amazing food! House salad dressing! Horseradish dill, just the right about of Horseradish, not over powering, just perfect. The steak, tender, juicy, fresh not prepackaged! Delicious every single bite! I believe it is the best steak I've ever had! The menu seems to have something for everyone. The staff was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Prices were just right, definitely not to high! We will be diving the 60 minutes again for this awesome place!

The food here is great! The margarita and mojitos were delicious!! The owner Brad made a point to make us feel welcome. I was looking forward to taking some Ooie Gooey Butter Cake back to my husband in Las Vegas but they had run out the night before. Brad's mom made a batch the day before I left and saved the day! If I am ever back in Boonville, I will be making a stop here. Thank you Brad and Brad's mom!!

Looking for a local place to eat after a day on the road, WJ's fit the bill perfectly for us - great service, tasty well prepared food, and a friendly owner. Owner Brad and Server Josie were attentive and made us feel welcomed. The restaurant is in an old house and the conversion was done well. Chicken and Chokes sandwich was SO flavorful and served on a toasted sourdough roll. The Paul Burger (Brad style) was cooked exactly as my husband likes a burger. We could tell the cook cares about what they serve. The homemade house salad dressing, a tasty horseradish and dill mix, was so good we bought some to take home. We'll be back!

Been here several times. A hidden gem in Boonville. A converted home serving up some excellent dishes! Lots of history here and worth looking over the many pictures and articles posted on the walls. Not a big place, so suggest reservations. Service is fast and friendly. Menu selection is broad, food is well prepared and delicious. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing food (especially the Ribeye)!! Customer service was exceptional!! They are so friendly and the ambiance was amazing! Highly recommended!!

Passing through Boonville Missouri and found this awesome, very quaint, locally-owned restaurant! So glad we stopped in! Beginning with the staff, they were all so friendly; especially our server Hannah...(I told you I was going to Yelp you!) The salad, although regular romaine mix, came with a delicious, homemade ranch dressing. I could have easily drank it but people were watching! The pasta dish, penne served with chicken had a subtle lemon and garlic sauce...perfect . The hubby ordered a well-done steak which I thought was a mistake, but behold, it was so tender and served with fried potatoes which were delicious! Did I forget to mention the pumpkin spice martini (or 2) that I ordered? Very Thanksgiving-ish and yes, made me feel 'grateful'. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the owner, Brad. The nicest guy who made it a point to check on us and stopped to chat a while! Very personable and very genuine!This is why we love local! (Yes, we will be back)!
