I really tried to support this gym. With such incredibly poor customer service as well as insufficient safety in their facility, I will not be going back. Walked out halfway through a group x workout today when the room hit 77°. Called that day to ensure an instructor would be leading to the class and it was confirmed. When I arrived, a different instructor was there, which was what I was trying to avoid. There are many much better gyms than this one. Hot as hell during summer and leaky ceilings during rain, no thanks. I'd rather go to a clean planet fitness.

Love being able to come in and have free access to weights, cardio equipment, track and all the other! Kid services are great!

Best childcare center of all the gyms I have seen. Classes included and there is a good quantity along with quality of instructors. Mom and pop vibe, everyone treats each other pretty well.for the volume of people I feel the amount of equipment is appropriate. Quality of equipment could improve in some areas. For the price you pay you get a larger variety of things to do. Batting cages, two weight areas, cardio, classes, basketball, etc. Overall I'm very happy here.

This review is not directed toward the facility nor its immediate employees but towards the "I'm 20 years old, have no children of my own but my sister does and I go over there once a month to see her, I also babysat in highschool but could never figure out why no one ever called me back to babysit again" instructor . The instructor for my sons "Little All-Stars" class knows about as much about teaching sports to kids as I do about what lives on Mars. What a waste of money and time. We all would have been better off renting the facility ourselves and asking complete strangers to instill their vast knowledge of "I'm not sure what that is but it don't look right training". I'm sure the knowledge we have between all the adults far exceeds what she learned in a babysitting CPR class, mixed with Nancy Drew novels of teenage girl angst. All I can say is wwwwhhaaaattt ttthhheee f$@!%.

The batting cages here are absolutely terrible. They never ever work. I have to typically have my son go to 3 or 4 to 10 swings in a row. Awful. The personnel were quick to help, give me an extra coin, and friendly as all get out. But the machines are something to be desired.

Yelpers, this place is a best kept secret! I just did a cycle class at 68s. I officially love this facility. The staff is awesome, the classes are diverse. There is literally a class for everyone! There is cardio equipment, a large weight room, many racquetball courts, a pool, indoor track, and basketball courts. They also have a smoothie bar / beverage station. I wish I lived closer, but because they are so awesome, it is not going to deter me getting a membership. They also offer swim lessons for all levels at discounted member rates. The class I attended today was taught by Corey. She was great, enthusiastic, and the class was perfect for me!!! In cycle, you adjust the tension to your fitness level. The instructor will encourage you to increase your resistance also. It will keep you from slacking! I strongly urge everyone to give this place a shot. It is so fun and I can't wait to start spending my boring winter evenings there! They also have a sauna and whirlpool, I have not seen/used these yet, so I can't comment. I read one review that said it "smells upstairs" but I did not experience that.Mary, at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating, I was thrilled she showed me around. Another bonus is free use of locks! You just check your keys in and they give you a lock to use. The womens locker room is newly renovated, and they also offer towel service.I'm still giving them 5 stars, though, as other yelpers have discussed, the cardio room/equipment could use some updates. However, the machines work and I haven't noticed anyone waiting around for anything. Besides, I go there for the classes and will be using the pool, and tend not to spend a lot of time in the cardio area. They offer free childcare and tons of other programs/leagues. They even offer golf swing lessons, and massage therapy!!! I think they have done significant updates since other people have reviewed this place, so if you're thinking of checking it out, do it. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Recently canceled our family membership. Was semi-happy during our time as members.Positives - No charge for most classes (if a member), free childcare, 4 racquetball courts, friendly front desk staff.Negatives - Childcare is free (you get what you pay for) - most times kids are unwatched as staff sits and talks or texts. Not a huge selection of ellipticals and etc. Racquetball courts are usually full on Monday's and Thursday's from 4-6pm - same middle aged group of people play every week and hog all the courts, gym is USELESS - courts rarely available at night or weekends due to tournaments, volleyball, pickup games, and etc. Pool is basically a lap pool and not overly kid friendly. We were paying about $90 a month for our family. Compare that to the family membership at Matt Ross CC at about $43 a month. Matt Ross has it's own issues so the cost is really a wash.Overall, I would give this business 3 stars. It is OK. Nothing special but not horrendous.

The cardio and weights (free weights and machines) areas need major updating; equipment is very much outdated. There is an indoor track upstairs, which is great. However, the odor upstairs is absolutely heinous. I don't know if it is due to poor ventilation or too much sweat has spilled onto the carpet, or a combination of both, but the smell is awful. The gym appears to be very involved in the special needs community, which is a big plus. The staff is very friendly, too.

I have a discounted Friends & Family rate so I really can't complain about the price. I'm willing to sacrifice some amenities for an affordable membership. However, there needs to be some improvement on the cleanliness front. The gym is old and it appears that they are working on some renovations, but some areas (ladies locker room and hot tub) need some serious attention. The child care area has always been well-staffed and fairly clean, and my daughter loves going there. She's gone to two other gyms with me, and this is definitely her favorite. Their classes are good and the selection is good. They reduce their classes for the summer months, but I understand that is typically done at other gyms, as well. Their staff is friendly, but one of the front desk girls knows absolutely nothing about anything. Their cardio equipment needs to be updated. For example, I live in an apartment complex that has a very nice, clean, professional gym. Unfortunately, the treadmills that I'm paying for at 68 Inside Sports are not as nice or new as the treadmills that I use for free at my apartment complex. Overall, it's a good value. If I wasn't getting the Friends & Family discount, I wouldn't be a member. You can find better use of your fitness dollars.

Before COVID-19 I really enjoyed going to the gym. Out of the many different places I've lived, it was one of my favorite, plus I am a huge chiefs fan and grew up watching will shields. Keep in mind as I write this review, I also run a business and understand how COVID-19 has impacted the world. Safety is a major concern. My frustration comes in with the lack of communication and miscommunication from the gym. Initially there was a sign in the window saying that it would not be re-opening until a date late in may or early in June (I forget). I got a meal plan ready based off of a new workout I made. I work out on my lunch break so it is inconvenient if I change and show up to the gym only to find out that it is still not opened. No new sign in the window (just the old one dowm), no phone call, email or text message, and nothing posted on the website. Unable to contact anyone at the gym. Frustrated (again, I realize that things are unpredictable at this time and changing daily). I went to the flint location and called as well. Nothing. It was 2pm that day and I thought maybe the hours changed. Google showed the hours to flint at 3pm. I went back the next day, still not open. Called, nothing. Emailed, nothing.I finally tried the physical therapy option and got an answer, even though they are a different company to my understanding. I was told that they had pushed the date back and that it was a likely going to be June 15. Okay... still frustrating but at least I had an answer. June 15 rolls around.... still closed. Now I'm told probably not until July, but they are doing 1 on 1 sessions. I feel I've been strung along for a month or two without any communication. I'm to the point I'll probably switch gyms or build my own. Unfortunately since I really enjoyed this place. I cannot keep putting my health and what I love to the side. It has been unfair to all of us.I'd love to be contacted with some new information. Maybe why and when?Sincerely,Gym Member
