Wild Cactex

Delicious! This was our first time trying Wild Cactex, and I'm really glad we did! These are the best street tacos I've tried, and their hot salsa is amazing. The crew was great, and the food was fast. I don't normally follow food trucks, but maybe I'll start trying more now. I also got strawberry watermelon lemonades for the kids and they loved them! They were only $2 a piece.

I love food trucks and I love tacos so perfect! I've been trying to make it to this truck for about a month and finally got to try it today. I got 2 orders of pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, 1 pastor quesadilla, 3 cups of elote (1 with no cheese), and 4 pina colada drinks. Everything is really good and tastes fresh. The service was friendly. Be warned the hot sauce is truly HOT, use it with cautionCheck out their Facebook page to find out where they will be and give it a try, it's worth it!

The guy taking orders was extremely patient and helpful when my party was ordering. We ordered a bunch of al pastor (4) and carne asada (12). Both had delicious flavor but we all preferred the carne asada over the al pastor (and usually we all prefer the al pastor). The only slightly negative thing was that some if the carne asada meat was tough/hard. I felt like the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. It was explained that the green salsa is the spicer one and the red the milder, which come with your tacos. You have to ask for the hot hot salsa which my partner thought wasnt too hot (it was hot to me!) but he loved the flavor.

We didn't know much about this food truck that set up shop near the Basehor Farmer's Market on Parallel Parkway. What a pleasant surprise. My wife ordered the Carne Asada Tacos and I had to have the Chicken Lime Tacos. One word comes to mind with regard to our meals. Yum!!! Three tacos per basket with plenty of meat, cheese, and I would say fresh corn tortillas. Delicious sauces! These are REALLY GOOD street tacos for a fair price and we will certainly return.

Authentic Mexican food is hard to come by, and if Tampicos and La Mesa are authentic to you, this place may disappoint. Ive had the pleasure of having tacos in Mexico, San Diego, and most recently in the Atlanta area so I'm well versed in the options. The prices here are great. The 4 for $8 is well on par with what I've paid at brick and mortar taco places. I love the walk-up service here, and the fact the give you a buzzer to conveniently sit in your car and wait for your food. It is one of the most organized food truck operations I've experienced. The carne asada street tacos are my go-to at this place and they are delicious. Perfect ratio of meat to tortilla and the onions and cilantro are not overdone. My favorite thing is that all orders come with salsa on the side and I dont have to remember to ask for any. On my most recent visit, I received the wrong burrito, ordered carne asada but got Al pastor without pineapple. The burrito was SO GOOD! I may now have a new favorite item. The burrito was supposed to be for my husband but I probably ate about half of it after my bite just to "taste" it. lol I traded a couple of my tacos to him. Overall the prices are good and the food is great. The fact that they have a permanent location now is a plus. They lost one star because they lack consistency with the garnishments. The meat tastes the same and the overall flavor is the same but sometimes they put cheese on the tacos, sometimes, tomatoes, but always onions and cilantro. I love the tacos either way but people that are more picky may be put off.

The food is FANTASTIC! You have to try the chicken mango tacos...mmmmmmThe service was fast and friendly..I can't wait to eat there again .so fun and refreshing

ABSOLUTELY delicious food!!!!!! Kid friendly and incredibly good. Their food is authentic and our family got to find a few new favorites and enjoy the best elote we've ever had! We will all be craving the deliciousness and be hunting for your food truck stops in the near future. New FULL fans! THANK you!

Recently moved back to Kansas after 17 years in Houston. I needed an al pastor fix and they really delivered. And tinga! That's hard to come by! Fantastic Taco Tuesday all around, and I can't wait for pozole and birria days. Thanks so much!
