Pizza is amazing! We pre- ordered for a large group and they accommodated even before their opening hours. The owner even personally delivered! Everyone loved and raved about the pizza. Can't wait to order again!

Amazing post bar pizza, located underneath the bar is this hole in the wall, affordable, and immaculate environment. Getting a whole pizza from here can get somewhat expensive, but by the slice makes it worth it. Only eaten this after drinking, so I cannot give a true sober review. Would absolutely recommend.

TBH, I have never tasted the Wheel Pizza sober, but I just can't imagine it being a disappointment! The crust is hand braided and fluffy. It has just the right amount of chewiness. The Pepperoni is my favorite! It's got a decent amount of toppings and it's just over $2 a slice! They have honey, which is a must on top! The honey is worth it, even though somehow I always end up covered in it! The staff who work the in the pizza booth are always super nice and will occasionally crack a pretty good joke! I highly recommend, it's definitely a Lawrence tradition!The bar that's on top of the pizza booth is a typical college bar, the walls are littered with graffiti and people signing their names! But that's also what gives it character and charm! The wheel is a staple and you have to appreciate it for what it is- tradition!

This is the pizza of my drunk-college-student dreams! The thick, soft crust was perfect for absorbing alcohol and the pizza was delish when dipped in honey. There were more than a few occasions one or more of us would make a sticky honey mess, but it was totally worth it. I just had it again as a sober adult, and it is still pretty darn good classic pizza! They are generous with the cheese and have a nice, light sauce. I just learned Pizza Pete passed away in 2020 - RIP Pizza Pete! Thanks for the memories!

Great place for some pre-game food and drinks. Get there early because it isn't that big but that's also what makes it so awesome. Went back for the first time in over 20 years and it didn't look any different. Definitely a place you have to know about if you go to KU.

Hand crafted pizza. Cozy establishment. Looking out for the working class man/woman. $2.50 per slice. Free honey! Killer deal! Feels like a warm hug on Thanksgiving in your mouth. Great place to chill out and sip a beer and also get the bonus of good food! I also feel this place is more of a safe bar at ku considering some hazing and other bad things to do with not surprisingly enough, alcohol.. but the wheel has been around a long long time and has great history! Definitely my go to bar in the campus area fs
