Weston Bed and Breakfast

What a lovely evening and morning my girlfriend and I had. Dottie and Dick are running a great B&B up in Weston. Delicious cookies when you walk in, old Victorian comfort, fantastic breakfast in the morning, and nothing but smiles all around. I definitely suggest staying here for a nice Weston weekend.

I surprised my girlfriend on her birthday by taking her to this wonderful establishment. I can't say enough good things about this place. We were greeted by Peggy the Inn Keeper with a smile and just a downright peachy attitude that rubbed off on us as soon as we entered. I reserved "The Cottage" which was a typical small town 2 bedroom house right next door. It was perfect for us since we had another couple with us and after a night at the underground Irish pub, we were thankful that we didn't have to be quiet when we came back. We also had a great time playing the Wii and relaxing in the living room. I highly recommend The Cottage to anyone. Now for the breakfast, truly amazing! The 3 course meal left me full for the rest of the day and Peggy's expertise in the kitchen was on full display through the presentation and quality of the breakfast she had made. Peggy really made the morning fun with her bubbly personality, and hearing some of her stories was one of the highlights of the morning. To top everything off, I somehow managed to leave my toiletry bag in the bathroom and didn't realize it until later that night. So here I was expecting to drive the hour on my lunch break to pick it up when I checked my email and Peggy had sent me an email stating that she found it and had already mailed it to me. Talk about going above and beyond what's required. I can't thnk you enough Peggy for an incredible experience. I'm already planning our next trip back so we can see some more Irish bands at O'Malleys!

My new bride and I decided for a quick honeymoon in Weston the Monday after we were married. Dotty and Richard are GREAT hosts who know how to inform you about the area, but also give you the space and privacy you need when you're in post-wedding bliss! We stayed in the Victorian room, and it was clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. Highly recommend staying there anytime you're in or near Weston!

I stayed a night in the Celebration Suite! Beautiful house and great location to everywhere you want to be in Weston! The room exceeded our expectations and even had a private deck! Breakfast was delicious and they even wrapped it up for us since we decided to sleep in a little the next morning:) Richard and Dorothy are just a delight to be around and they made our stay very special. We will definitely be back soon!!

Very large lovely home and with Judy as your cook for breakfast life is good. Upon arrival you are greeted with the smell of homemade cookies that you will find in your room. The breakfasts are the best around, she prepares them all from scratch with the freshest ingredients.. Egg Strata, Ham Loaf, Quiche and French Toast are some of the things she makes served with a bowl of fresh fruit and a dessert that tastes like a professional chef has made it. Unlimited juice, coffee, tea or a mimosis ( on request) if you would like!! The rooms are very,very clean with your own private bath. With 2 huge decks you can enjoy the sounds of a small town or no sounds as it is a quaint little town in NW Missouri about a 25 minute drive from Kansas City. with lots of Antique shops, Boutiques, Four Star resturants, ,Museums, O'Mallys Pub and the Missouri River all within walking distance of the B and B.The B & B was recently chosen as the best B&B in the KC area so I suggest you check it out and say Hi to the cat, Kearny that lives there!!

Beautiful house, warm and welcoming innkeepers, and comfortable lodging. Not to mention a lovely and delicious breakfast! I highly recommend this place and hope I get the chance to stay again.
