Werner's Fine Sausages

This is a hidden gem in Kansas City. I'm not big on sausages, but these were in a league of their own. Dare I say, best sausages in Kansas City? Outside the store on Saturdays til 2:30pm, Werner's serves sausages on a bun (bratwurst, knockwurst, Polish, Italian, cheddar bier and andouille) for $4.25 each. You can even call ahead and order a different sausage and it will be ready when you arrive.

I have been coming here to get fresh grilled sausages, since I was a toddler. This mom and pop shop is amazing. Family owned and ran.

A little pricey for hot dog's but they did taste good I got the chili cheese dog you'll need a fork and knife. Lol

Amazing andouille brat...they grill out on Saturdays. PERFECT char. A must have in KC.

One of the best lunch spots in the metro. Great sandwiches and good grocery items. I have been for weekly lunches and on Saturdays they were grilling sausages outside. So good.

Great food, great staff, old school deli counter that probably hasn't changed in 50 years.

Werner's is great, love the fresh white brats, several other good choices as well. Good textures and flavors from the sausages, great on the grill or in a Yorkshire pudding.

Good sausage good customer service. Very relaxed and chill ambiance. Highly recommend, they have good food.

Usually the food is great (made on site Swedish "patatiskorv" sausage!), but yesterday I bought their German potato salad, and when I got home the potatoes were raw. Oooooops !!

A hidden gem! All I can say is that all of their sausages and sandwiches are delicious, the people are great, and the prices are incredible. Be sure to do a drive-by early afternoons when they happen to be outside working the grill. They offer the absolute best polish sausages on the planet!
