We order takeout from here all the time! It's the best place for sushi in the Northland in my opinion. The Samurai roll is our favorite.

Nothing special. It was ok. We are spoiled being near the ocean but for Kansas city hibachi/sushi it was ok. Needs some work inside, waitress was nice but I wouldn't go out of my way to head here.

My first time dining here this week. It was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our hibachi chef was great as well - made sure the birthday boy felt special and has a good time! We had sushi to start which was very fresh, looked as good as it tasted. The hibachi was also excellent. So much food! We will definitely be back!

Ew, where to start. First impression-dingy, worn out, run down. Teppanyaki table was sticky. Should have done an about turn at this point but several people on Facebook raved about the food. Chef had zero enthusiasm. Food was poorly seasoned. Even the filet mignon was grainy. Had to ask for yum yum sauce after all food was served. Very disappointed in a nearly $100 meal for 2. Server didn't even question my obviously untouched plate. Lesson learned, choose the chain restaurants for hibachi.

This place opens at 4:30 NOT 11:00. Haven't been able to try because I'm a lunchtime sushi girl.

This may be one of the worst restaurants I've been in. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Wait that's not true. The chef was amazing so that one star is for him and him alone but babyyyyy, that's where it stops. I mean full stop. The soup was eh. The salad was eh. The meat was delicious.The servers are horrible. Horrible. HORRIBLE!!!! I have never wanted to not tip... until now. I didn't get a refill until we got the bill even though my cup was empty & I was sitting on the end. She ignored us. We've been waiting for to go boxes for 20 minutes now. Yes I'm writing this review while I'm here. This restaurant makes me full of frustration. Like my stuff spilled in the to go bag & I don't even want a replacement bag from them. I just want this experience to be over and I never come here again.I tipped because of my mama but when I left, one of the chefs were outside & I mentioned the horrible service. He stated a lot of people say that but they can't get other help. Whew. I hate that foe them.

Walked in and waited without being greeted for 10 minutes. Other people looked very disappointed in their service. Tables were not bussed and staff looked at us but did not acknowledge us even in the slightest. Will not be coming back nor recommending.

We went out for our first date night in months and were super excited to try a local sushi restaurant (sushi is our favorite food ever)! However, the experience we had was extremely poor. I also want to firstly say that my partner and I both have bad social anxiety and I still felt the need to write my first ever review. We arrived and were motioned at to sit at one of the empty tables on the sushi side, but not greeted. We ordered Miso Soup & Crab Rangoons which were good and came out at a perfect 10 minutes after ordering. We had ordered some 6-ish rolls of sushi at the same time as our appetizers. Normally a substantial wait would be good by me if the restaurant were busy, but there were only 3 other tables seated (about 6 patrons, including us), one of which was just a pick-up order (who waited for 40+ minutes and were still there when we left). We waited an hour and a half to receive only 2 of our rolls, and were told the rest were close behind. Our standalone tamago came out effectively frozen, and only half of our 4 pieces came out on the first plate, which was confusing. The rest of our sushi took an additional 10-15 minutes, and was not in fact, right behind. We ordered two rolls that were supposed to be flash fried and the rest were cold. But ALL of our rolls were completely room temperature, overloaded with unagi, and the fried ones were extremely soggy. The "hot tea" I ordered was slightly warmer than room temperature, and our waters remained empty for 40 minutes. Our waiter didn't check on us between bringing our food. We asked for the check and to speak to a manager as soon as we received our food, and decided it wasn't even worth taking home as leftovers. There were also two other groups of 4 on the hibachi side that waited over 50 minutes to be greeted by their chef to START their dinner service. Additionally, my partner (driver) ordered some sake, but our server forgot it on the server stand and brought the drink after we had asked for the check and to speak to the manager. Which means it had been sitting out for over an hour. Our server just said "Oh yeah, I almost forgot to get you this," and walked off without having our check or the manager that we had already asked for. My partner also wouldn't have been able to drink it at that point because they needed to be sober to drive. The rolls we got were so unappetising that we didn't finish any of them, even though they were specialty rolls. We ended up having to talk to a different server entirely to ask for our check, and they told us the manager would be with us as soon as possible. Said manager was in eyesight and standing at the server stand talking with other servers and cleaning up some unused tables. We then waited another 20 minutes for our check. Absolutely would NOT recommend ever. Very disappointing experience for a date night.

The chef was amazing. The food was so delicious. The portions are huge and we had leftovers for the next day. I would highly recommend this place for friends and family.

Sushi order came out incorrect and hibachi wasn't phenomenal. They love pepper here too this is the pepper palace.
