Wahlburgers @ Hy-Vee

I've read all the bad reviews and I'm not sure what's going on. My experience has been very different. The burgers have always been fantastic.My ONLY complaint, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and it so dry. It was so dry I couldn't chew it.Other than that, we love this place.

So where do I begin if you want a frozen patty... from a cow killed 6 years ago.. undercooked... if you can call it that more like Raw-served . by some people that work at hyvee. .. indoors by some idiot with cardboard cutouts selling protein Mark Wahlberg wantabe Rock. With an independence dope flair.. THIS IS FOR YOU! Did I mention the cold frozen Hamburger was 15 bucks. Lol. My daughter had bacon Mac and cheese the noodles were like rocks. . Awesome! Sat & waited for 15 minutes with no one addressing us, no menu, no drinks, no hello. There was a bar tender that looked over, saw us and then disappeared never to be seen again. 1:00pm on a Sunday. We were literally one of their only customer groups. We walked out & won't be back to this joke of a "restaurant."

Fine burger. Value isn't there. Won't last long in Blue Springs. Ma Lady had a chicken sandwich. Looked like a frozen chx sandwich from Aldi.Mac n cheese 2/10, onion straws 5/10, which is a terrible rating. Not hard to fry onions.

Food was excellent. We had a slight issue with our order and the team went above and beyond to make up for it. Wonderful customer service.

I thought I would give this place a try. First, it is not the big fancy restaurant that is inside the Hyvee. You have to go to the counter to order. Where you are more than likely getting a burger that was made at the store. Go someplace where you know what you are getting.

SUPER underwhelmed. $80 for 4 fast-foodesque meals - I felt like I should have been wowed. I was not. The burger patties tasted like the frozen patties in the bag from the grocery store. When you order they ask how youd like your burger done - but then they dont differentiate which is which on the box - so did i get the medium? The medium rare? Who knows. They forgot one of our sides (the onion rings - which after reading some of these reviews, I dont really feel like i missed anything. But it would have been nice to be able to say for myself since i paid an exorbitant amount of money for them). The fries were forgettable but slightly redeemed by their fry sauce (although there are some other establishments with a much tastier "fry sauce"). The pretty tasty fried pickles and the fact that they LITERALLY chased me down to my car to give me the ice creams i paid for and they almost forgot to give me - those were the ONLY reasons i bumped my stars up to 2. This particular location is in a grocery store so maybe that was the issue with the quality/service but when it comes to chains, consistency is key. So that really shouldn't matter - because i paid the same overpriced prices as I would have at a freestanding establishment. I will also mention the lack of an option to order online for pickup at this location is inconvenient.So in summary - dont waste your money (or your expectations).

Seriously not impressed. Walked in was told to go to the grocery store to order. Went to the grocery store to order, was told to go to the bar to order. With a lot of hesitation and frustration, grocery took our order. Asked multiple times for me to repeat my order. Only people in the restaurant were at the bar, dropping f-bomb after f-bomb. My two grandkids (both under 6 years old) really needed to hear that. Only 1 cook in the kitchen. Napkin dispenser on our table was empty. Highchairs were all stacked in a corner behind a glass wall. Ordered the bacon arugula salad and the chicken was so dry and hard on the outside that I could not eat it and instead of fresh fruit, it had some sort of dried fruit that was chewy and no idea what it was. Other food ordered wasn't bad, but not great. Not one person checked on us or said anything to us. Very disappointed. Would not recommend and will not be back.

I would give this zero stars if i could I ordered the double decker burger "medium " when I got it it was pretty much raw not much flavor at all . , the fries seemed like they were taken from the frozen section in the hyvee this is nothing like the location in Olathe it's the real deal wahlburgers experience , this is a sad representation of the wahlburgers chain . Never going back $15 for a raw burger and some low quality fries DO NOT RECOMMEND.
