Waggin' Tails Dog Park

Large, large park with both a small and a large dog side. I have seen owners get into verbal altercations in this park. I have also seen dogs getting out of control and fighting. Most people are friendly that come to this park.

This is the best fenced off leash park I have visited! It is Huge and has lots of features that make it appealing. Large shade trees, big rocks and interesting terrain, double gated entry, water fountains, benches and even an agility obstacle! I am well impressed, Leavenworth!

I am so proud of Leavenworth for this dog park! It is a wonderful dedication of land and it is so refreshing to come to this park and see the whole city laid below you. The historical aspects of the VA are a great feature that is nice to be close to. The land provided is fenced in and separated between big dogs and little dogs. This is very convenient, especially for my little dog who is timid and easily frightened by dogs bigger than herself. The landscaping is usually neat and well tended and it is a delight to see all the old trees and enjoy their shade when it is hot. The memorial benches are very nice to rest on and the water fountain for the dogs is state of the art and much appreciated by the thirsty pooches. All around, a great park!

Such a great place to take our four legged friends to run freely and throw the ball as far as I can for them to play....and meet other dogs! Thanks Leavenworth for providing such a great place!

Great local dog park. Plenty of room with a nice well kept fence surrounding the park. It even has a double door entrance so you can get your furry friend in the door and let them off the leash before they enter the actual park. The water fountain is great for keeping them hydrated, and if you don't mind a few dogs in your lap the benches are a great place to rest while they run around.
