Inside the store

I work nearby, and noticed this store a few times as I did many a lunchtime-grocery-run to the Price Chopper across the parking lot. I decided to pop in for the first time last summer, and was pleasantly surprised at how large it is once inside (looks fairly small from the outside).I stop in about once every two to three weeks to pick up the latest craft brew to hit the shelves, but have noticed that they have a very nice selection of liquor and wine. What earns this store an above-average rating are the people and service I've received. One of the gentlemen noticed that I was becoming somewhat regular after a couple months, and introduced himself as the resident Craft Beer Specialist. Ever since then, he pro-actively keeps me in the know when hot releases hit the store on the day of arrival. Another time, I was helped out by multiple people in the store while I was looking for a rare bourbon, including the co-owner, who provided me her personal business card and offered to help me obtain what I was looking for, even though the store did not currently carry it.The store is clean, bright and well-stocked, and pretty easy to navigate. It falls between "small mom-and-pop" size and "liquor-mega-store". Only thing keeping it from a full-pull five stars is the fact that the selection is slightly limited, likely due to size and traffic (or lack thereof) being a bit off the beaten path and, again, not a mega-store. Overall, this is a very approachable place to obtain libations!

Convenient friendly staff with a very strong selection of wines considering the size of the store. Also be sure to ask about the wine club discount.

Best liquor store on the K10 corridor. While good, that isn't really stating much considering the options those of us have who live out in this part of town. For basic liquor runs this place is great. Prices are decent and the help is very nice. To be honest I haven't really checked out the wine selection here so I can't comment on it.However if you are a beer drinker like me you will find the selection less than stellar when it comes to craft brew selection. They have some of the regionals and a couple of the big names, but that's it. The build your own six pack section is a joke, so much so that it's almost a waste of cooler space. So often if I need something more than beer to take to the golf course, I will make the further drive to Gomer's on 87th street.

Nice staff, they always ask if I need help and point me in the right direction! Good selection for the things I go for, reasonably priced! Conveniently located if you live in the area, good size for the area as well!

A simple, clean, bright liquor store that isn't too cramped. Those are the worst, aren't they? Where you can barely push through the overstocked aisles. Not this place. And despite that, it has a decent selection - nice wines, plenty of beers, and even a small build-your-own-six-pack section. Prices are fair. Parking is easy. Staff...I didn't interact with them past the cash register, so I cannot say how knowledgeable or helpful they are.

This place is one of the friendliest and most organized liquor stores I have visited. The owners are amazing and are willing to check into ordering liquor they don't carry, and the staff is wonderful and always willing to help you find what you are looking for or recommend something new to try. They will also carry your purchases to the car for you! This place is a perfect, neighborhood store that we are very lucky to have in our area!! They have a great selection and reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking it out!!

Friendly and convenient. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. They are a smaller locally owned store so they may not always have what you are looking for but if you ask they will put in an order.

Convenient location and friendly staff but I've been there several times and they're frequently out of stock of my favorite selections. For example, how do you run out of 750ml bottles of Makers Mark? And how do you run out of 750 ml bottles of American Honey Whiskey? And it's not just for a night but for 5 days that you don't have inventory! And prices are several dollars higher than other stores so I know you're charging a premium because of the lack of close competition. I look forward to when the state of Kansas licenses grocery stores to sell liquor because this location will go out of business once PriceChopper sells liquor. If you want my loyalty, lower your prices now and freaking start ordering more inventory. I predict this store will be out of business before 2020 and the owner knows it and that's why he's overcharging for his retirement.

I love the people here! Owners are so nice and friendly, staff is great. It's liquor so I'm not sure how one could give it less than 5 stars. If there is something you want that they don't have you can ask and they will start stocking it for you. It's not the walmart of liquor stores so they don't have everything, but prices are the same as any other liquor store and it's nice and convenient to have in the neighborhood. Clean and well organized. I enjoy supporting local small businesses so it's nice to have good ones to go to!
