Twisted Taters

I'd randomly driven past this food truck parked at different events and whatnot before and have always been curious. Loaded french fries, what's not to like? So finally, I was at First Fridays and saw the truck stationed in the food truck area and knew this was my chance.The line moved pretty quickly and I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak fries. They came out almost immediately. I took my first bite and it was like a party in my mouth!! Damn are these fries GOOD. My husband and I got them to share and we were both worried we were hogging the food from one another because it felt like neither of us could put our forks down. The beef was savory and so, so flavorful, tossed with peppers and onions; the cheese (nacho cheese?) was perfect; and the fries themselves were well-seasoned and crispy - absolutely delectable.I feel like I'm going to spend the rest of my life following this truck around. I've been checking their Facebook page since, anxiously awaiting a new post about where they will be next. If you stumble upon this truck, DO NOT MISS YOUR OPPORTUNITY!

Pricey, but worth the money. Lots of neat on top of the fries. Great flavor, nice and hot.

Twisted Tators came to our neighborhood today for lunch and they will be back for dinner! I can't recommend them enough! They do a wonderful job with keeping social distancing rules in place. They offer gluten free options and have a variety of toppings to make your loaded fries out of this world! Kansas City's Loaded Fry Truck satisfies all your potato loving dreams! My kids loved their meals so much they have asked us to get them for dinner too! Definitely a crowd pleaser all around.

Loaded fries are always a win, but make sure you share them with a friend! This was a lot of food, the line was pretty long (which is always a good sign!), and there were several options to choose from! Definitely a must try at the next food truck festival!
