We had dinner here before a show at Kauffman. It's wonderful to finally have somewhere nice to eat within walking distance of it!When we arrived at the restaurant, we were slightly disappointed to find that even though I had made a reservation in advance, we were seated right in front of the main door on a cold night. The hostess was very understanding and she and the manager (Whitney, I believe) did everything they could to remedy the situation. Whitney really did go above and beyond, which made what started as a negative experience, turn into a positive experience for us.Kelce did a fabulous job taking care of our table. She was both personable and professional and had some wonderful suggestions for us while ordering. She even offered to remind us when it got close to show time, so that we would not be late. We ordered the Triune Smoked Old Fashioned and the Fall in Line cocktail to start. I enjoyed the Fall in Line - it was a lighter bourbon cocktail and not too sweet. We tried the Kale salad (very good), the Smash Burgers (excellent and a rather large burger) and the Poutine (also good, but I would probably try something different next time). We will definitely return for dinner and/or just hanging out at the bar. This place has a very welcoming, service forward vibe and I predict that it will do well!

Stopped in and dined solo on an early Saturday afternoon during their brunch hours. My biggest mistake was coming solo. Triune's brunch menu had a lot of options and most of those options sounded intriguing. I really needed some more companions so we could share several options. The B&G, Thick bacon, Fritt-Ta-Ta, bread tray and Satay were all calling for my attention but I just couldn't say no to the Smash Burger - two brioche buns with a seared patty oozing American cheese, a healthy smear of bacon jam and some in-house made pickles. For $12 it was a wonderful choice. There are two dining areas, the front main room is very void of art, but packed with plants and a large dried grass arrangement over the bar that gives a very autumnal prairie vibe. There are garage doors that allow light and they actually had them open on a 60 degree day. The backroom, where I dined is decorated on the cheap with the walls covered with pages from art books - a librarian's nightmare. It reminded me of some of my wifes collage projects she has done. The backroom is also very narrow with the serving window from the kitchen and people passing through on the way to the restrooms gives it less than prime real estate aura. Stay in the front room if you have an option. The music was prominent but not overly loud and added to the hipness factor. My server was Jake and he was pleasant and efficient. Yes, I would eagerly return for another brunch or experience the dinner menu. A great addition to the West Crossroads.

Love the Triune Vibes! Enter through the unmarked silver door into a cool plant lovers bar. The noise level was up (loud in there y'all)! The drinks were aight. The food was the star! The spiced chickpeas with the scallops & cauliflower were tasty. They should serve those as a side all on their own. Lots of menu items I'd like to try so we'll definitely be back. Reservations & Street Parking were simple!

We had reservations right when they opened and the vibe was chill. Kelsey greeted us right away and her service was awesome all night. She had great recommendations and was super helpful. The Brussels sprouts were to die for and the bread board is a must order. We also tried the Cubans which were delicious.

I felt lucky when I called and was able to make same day reservations. They are still in their soft opening and hype is real. The main entrance is through the outdoor patio seating on the south side of the building ( not the entrance facing Washington ). The interior is industrial chic. There is a large bar with full service in the main dining room. Past the bar, there is a second dining area. There are 2 tables that face the kitchen and we were lucky enough to get one of them! The restrooms are further on on the main building ( not inside the restaurant ). I ordered iced tea ( fresh brewed and perfect ). My friend ordered the smoked ( table side, see video ) old fashioned. The theme is Three Fold:TRIUNE WAS BORN FROM A FUSION OF THREE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:ATMOSPHERE FOOD & DRINK AS WELL AS YOU.Overall the menu is exceptional. The tuna wraps are a bit spicy from the chili oil and seared Rare. The octopus is exceptional, it's the most tender I've ever had. Brussel Sprouts are fried and delecious. The Sea Scallops are large and served with Chayote Squash ( OMG, So Delecious, I've never had Chayote Squash before ).In house pastry Chef. We had the strawberry shortcake. The strawberries are presented 3 ways. Fresh, purareed, and freeze dried crumbled on top. Everything was fantastic. Our server was patient as we sporadically ordered our food one thing at a time as we were a bit more excited after each item.Their brunch rolls out in September. Great Local spot with a super talented team!

Was so excited to try this place as they just opened and it did not disappoint! The inside is so cute and we got to sit right by the chefs window which was cool. Our server was great and very attentive. To eat, we started with the bread plate and the cornbread was the star of that show. Next we did the cubano sliders and that was my favorite thing. The house spuds were very good as well. We weren't fans of the wings but I think it was just a personal preference. They were just too smoky for my taste but I could tell it was good pieces of chicken. Overall this place is a gem! I really liked how even their smaller plates were a good portion size and not crazy expensive.

The restaurant is super cute, great atmosphere! Our server was great and very welcoming since it was the first visit for all 6 of us. The food is amazing!! We tried the bread platter, crab dip and I got the short ribs for my dinner. Friends got the duck, scallops and meatballs and all of us were so happy with our selections. You have to try this place!!

The food was decent: the roasted cauliflower, potatoes, and bread pudding were delicious, the chimichurri steak and chicken satay were alright. The service was solid and the food was timed nicely. Overall, the ambience and vibe is great, I like the decor and the drinks looked unique, but we didn't get any.
