When I visit Transparent Brewing, I can tell that it's a popular local spot. While great for locals, I think its proximity to Interstate 49 makes it the perfect pit stop for someone passing through on a road trip. The tap list has a great variety of beer styles and all of the beers are well made. The beertenders are knowledgeable and it sounds like they also have a hand in the brewing process. Something like that always adds to the brewery experience. On some days they have specials. I've seen a BOGO discount for beer to go.The patio is great when the weather permits. I'll continue to frequent this place as often as a I can because I love it.

It's nice to see a brewery in this area since not many breweries make their way south. All their beers hit the mark and they keep the selection smaller which attributes to their well crafted beers. I like the space as well since they have the garage doors open and you can walk in and out to their patio so it all feels like one big space. We usually always take advantage of the patio. They also have tacos if you need some food as well. The bartenders are really chill and helpful if you are unsure what to order. They also have a beer membership.

Words are lacking sometimes when it comes to describing an experience. Let's try "comfortable", "stimulating", and "interesting" all at the same time. Conor, as our "brew descriptor" (which honestly might be a made-up word) was knowledgeable and conversational. Fun to talk with and down to earth. He suggested the NEIPA for my hazy taste and it was perfect. Oui Bit Lazy was a sweet and satisfying French Saison. The smoked Irish red rivaled Smithwicks (and won!)This is a fun brewery in KCMo and I wished I lived closer than Venice Florida if only to experience the music video event on Wednesdays. But I did truly enjoy happy hour Tuesday :). Thanks Transparent, I will return!!

We came in for lunch at the attached farm to market cafe and stumbled on to Transparent. Group tried Garage Saisson, porter and stout. Everybody loved their brews .Zach let us try possible choices before making our big decisions. Not only the staff but even the local patrons were friendly. Would go out of my way to stop here again.

Great little brewery. Not a lot of seating inside, but a large amount on the outside. Nice selection of different beers for a good price. Great thing about the patio was that it was covered, so we could enjoy the warm weather, but not get burnt to a crisp. Friends were able to bring their dogs, which is nice as most other breweries do not allow animals. Nice little addition to the Grandview/Belton area we used to have to drive to North KC or Crossroads area for the same type of feel.

Very friendly, family run brewery. They have lots of seating inside and a covered patio outside by the parking lot. The best part for me (as a non-beer drinker) was the cafe attached! The food is locally sourced and the items we tried were good. Hubby thought the beers were very good! They also have an outdoor space with benches and I think horse shoe pits (hubby thought it might be bocce ball ) and a big jenga game. DISCLAIMER- I didn't see this space until we were leaving, so I might not be 100% correct on what I really saw...There was also a fenced in area next to the grassy game area that could have been a dog park. Either way, this place is fun and worth checking out!

Maybe my favorite place to go visit. Beertenders are always polite and enjoyable. The beer is really good. I always look forward to when a new beer is released to try. I've eaten the food at The Chive many times and the food is simply amazing. They always have some great new dishes. Always recommend this place given it's wonderful atmosphere and great people there.

Would highly recommend transparent brewing co. Small brewery with amazing beer and a small town chill vibe but great decor (food trucks and bands scheduled online). Weird bonuses: Really kind bartenders and the bathroom smells fantastic.

The bartender was rude to my husband when he asked for an ale. All beers are ales, the bartender says. That's like asking if we have beer. Then everyone at the bar laughs. Uh, what about lagers? Perhaps use the opportunity to educate rather than criticize. Was hoping to support a local business, but we won't be back.
