I enjoyed the friendly service and great prices at this family owned and operated business, which was established in 1960.My L1 lunch was served with a smile in 12 minutes. It included two chicken enchiladas, rice, beans and complimentary chips with medium salsa for $6.95. I liked the shredded, premium, white chicken and the good beans, but the rice was too moist, and the portions were just reasonably sized.I found the service to be stellar - welcoming, friendly and attentive with no shortage of chips or salsa.The clean, spartan dining area offered a mix of booths and tables with a bar, classic rock background music and several TVs. I also noticed a patio out front.They also offer a two for one taco special on Mondays.Overall, very nice for the price!

We came here because of the great reviews and loved the cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe. The service was wonderful--everyone was so kind and attentive, which made the experience pleasant. However, I was really let down by the food. Unfortunately, it didn't resemble Mexican cuisine at all. The cheese dip, salsa, and chips reminded me of something you'd find in a nacho Lunchable. The enchiladas tasted like they were made with marinara sauce, and the rice and beans had the texture and lack of flavor similar to microwave meals, with the beans tasting straight from a can. Even the tacos and chimichangas had American cheese, which was surprising. It's frustrating to be so disappointed, especially since I want to support small restaurants. With the great service, I hope they can make improvements to bring the food up to par.

food is not quite as good as it used to be, they overdo the red sauce which has no flavor. Tacos have shrunk in size by about 30%. We used to go weekly, we go occasionally now. Service is awkward, they either ignore you or they inappropriately won't leave you alone. We've been going for years and really hope they turn things around. Sewage smell continues to be a problem.
