Tooters Saloon & Steak House

I'm a city boy and I was coming back from the lake. My uncle and I stopped at Tooters and we both had a steak. Wow what a great steak for a fair price. Service was great and fun people to talk to. I will find a reason to come back to eat. This place is out in the middle of nowhere. I loved it

We Stopped by yesterday and had a couple beers Domestics $2.50 ! Burgers were good a nice 10oz burger with plenty of flavor. I had the Grover with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, jalapeno's and pepper jack cheese. The veggies were amazing... fresh and crisp, came with potato chips $6.50 WOW! Wife had the Shrimp basket comes with 1lb of fried shrimp and Fresh hand cut fries (with skins on ! )... I think it was $9.50 Awesome! in and out in less than an hour. so wasn't to bad if got an hour to kill for lunch. Thanks for the food!

This is a gem of a find! We were hungry and passed the exit of where we intended to stop, so we decided we would take the next thing we saw. Tooters it was! Under any other circumstances, we probably would've driven by, there isn't much curb appeal to draw you in other than the typical neon lighted beer advertisements. We were greeted warmly, it was around noon and many locals were in the bar. This was easily ascertained by the greetings they gave each other by name. My husband always gets some variant of fried cheese as an appetizer and which were exactly what we expected as fried cheese goes. Nothing to write home about, it came with a side of ranch. We both ordered the "special" which was a prime rib sandwich and handmade fries. While we would've probably called it a French dip, it offered really great flavor and the au jus was a tasty compliment. The French fries were a surprise, we didn't know they were handmade. They were perfectly golden brown and seasoned well. We genuinely enjoyed this meal. The customer service was inviting and the cost was more than reasonable. Less than $25 for both of us. You may be skeptical at the curb, but I encourage you to give it a try!

Well, the food is good and a nice change from fast food. Really good onion rings and a decent pork tenderloin for Missouri (any tenderloin outside Iowa or Indiana is a risk). Doesn't look like much from the outside, and inside it meets expectations. Since this is, after all, Missouri, smoking is allowed (unless prohibited by local ordinance). There are a handful of well worn tables and chairs outside if you need fresh air. Worth stopping for the food, but don't go for the ambience.

The burgers are awesome, especially the Grover burger. I go to Eldon at least once a month, and look forward to getting some Tooter's every time. There's not much more to want from a place like this. Great food, friendly service, A+.

They don't serve steak! The inside is a little sketchy. Sandwiches are good! Servers are very pleasant.

On a vacation we were looking for steak for dinner and Tooters came up on the GPS. When arriving there we were sceptic but went on in. So glad we did! We all had steaks, with one getting shrimp also. Everything was cooked to order with exactly the right seasonings. The waitress was wonderful and wanted our experience to be a good one. We come here once a year, so we will return next year!
