Great place for Italian food. This was our first visit and we're instant fans. The service was great, we ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Sicilian noodle dish, both were delicious! We'll be coming back.

Well we tried to have dinner here tonight. Arrived at 6 pm and it was very busy. Put in our order for artichoke and spinch dip appetizer, mediterranean salad, and lasagna, and two ice teas. Took awhile for bread to come to our table which is understandable because they were so busy. Got our appetizer which was great but we waited and waited and waited for our entrees after people who sat down well after us where served and relizing its been an hour finally got our server's attention and asked about our order. He said "they got really busy in the kitchen and must've lost our ticket and our food was being made and would be right out. Watched as more food was being delivered to other tables and seeing a salad (I'm assuming was mine) sit in the window for 15 minutes we finally decided it's been an hour and 20 mins since we got there and waited long enough and even with an offer of lemon cake for free it wasn't enough to make us want to wait any longer. As many of you know I am recovering from knee replacement surgery and we live over 35 minutes from the restaurant so the drive in was already making my knee hurt and it was just getting more and more painful waiting there. I have never just eaten or even had drinks delivered to my table without paying for those things before I leave even if I'm walking out but I was already in so much pain and so disappointed that I said we're leaving and I got my walker and walked out. What's sad is that they are closing and generally we've gotten good service and food there and this was not a great send off for us. They are relocating but it's going to be even further away from us than before so I can't even imagine that we'll be back after what happened tonight. It's too bad really...For the record this place has always been held in special regard for us because we would go there on special occasions and date nights.

This was simply the best Italian I've had! The staff and atmosphere were wonderful. I ordered the gluten free chicken Alfredo and it was so creamy. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

Italian food is hard to come by in Kansas City. Sure, you have popular staples like Lydia's, but sometimes it is nice to be close to home. Here is our experience:Location: 7/10 This gem of a place is located on Santa Fe (135th street) next door to the former Perkins location. (Good times) We had no idea if they were open or not, as the parking lot was completely empty! For a Friday night, this surprised us! We were expecting a small crowd, but we were the only ones in there! The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom.Customer Service 9.5/10 It was an hour and half before closing, which may explain the spare crowd. Some employees were packing up to go home. Our server was very kind, efficient, and checked on us often without being a helicopter. We did not stick around long because we wanted the remaining staff to go home and enjoy their evening. The vibe was cozy and home-like. Food: 9/10 My husband got the ravioli and I got lasagna. The bread was hot and fresh. It was excellent! My husband really enjoyed the ravioli. The lasagna had really great flavor and the portion sizes were plentiful. We definitely had leftovers for the next day. The food reheated well and tasted just as good as the night before. Our meal was around $30.Overall: 8.5/10 The food was fantastic and I can understand why this place is so beloved. The vibe was so comfortable, and it would be a great place to host a party or large gathering. We definitely will be back!

What a great little Italian restaurant! Very unassuming front, we even thought it might be closed at it looked dark from the outside, but they just have dark windows so don't pass this place by. The owner came and spoke to us and was super friendly and kind! The waitress and busboy were also super great! Now the best part is they have a special GLUTEN FREE menu that Includes a free gluten free starter bread! Usually, our daughter has no bread at most all places we've gone to. They have things like GF chicken and eggplant parmesan Which again is a rare find. Really, they have a full menu from apps to dessert all GF! Wow! That is awesome! Heads up they will be moving to the Shawnee area by the k7 very soon. For the non GF person they have a really nice selection. I had the chicken piccata which was yummy, lots of large chunks of chicken, tho personally, I wish the chicken was seared a bit, but the flavor of the white wine sauce was delicious . Our salad was also very large and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I used there website to order for my first time at this restaurant. When I received my order I didn't get the cannoli nor the cake I ordered. When I called the person who answered blamed the driver and that they were going to credit me for the cake. But no mention to me that I would receive a credit and no accountability nor any apology given whatsoever. I will not be visiting this establishment again.

Went here for a family gathering. We had 18 people and The service was AMAZING! from the owners to yhe wait staff they paid attention to every single person. We had som allergy issues and spent time going through everything making suggestions. The fresh bread knots they bring out with fantastic balsamic and oil with small chunks of some veggies in it sooo good. Ordered everything from spin dip to mozzarella stick abd several other appetizers. Perfection. Now, the entree I had marios seafood special IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! Such fresh giant seafood and the pasta and sauce Devine. EVERY plate is GIANT i am not kidding. The portions will feed you easily twice. Do not miss this place!! They are opening a new location soon. (Sorry about no pictures we forgot was there after a sad occasion, but all we did is smile and laugh there because of staff and owners attitudes and care for us)

It is my absolute favorite Italian in KC and it's wild it is in Olathe! It is bring your own alcohol as well so don't forget that if you want it! I have had a lot of items, but I can't seem to get away from the Chicken Tortellini Mido Mioo. Portions are large and food is fantastic. Their bread knots are also fantastic and come with the food. Service is excellent too in this family run business. If you have not been here, you should come.

Our first visit tonight and we hand a wonderful dinner‼We had the Lasagna and the Chef Favorite, both were AWESOME and plenty left over to enjoy later. The rolls are yummy we met the owners Toni and Mario who told us the make rolls and pizza dolls everyday. Highly recommend the next time you have a craving for "real Italian food"! Service was very good too‼
