My husband and I had a quiet date there the day after Thanksgiving. The staff was friendly and polite- very attentive to needs and kept drinks refilled. We enjoyed the Hawaiin roll (practically dessert it was such a treat with mango and coconut shrimp!) and the Spider roll which included some fried fish (the entire sushi roll was not fried). We also ordered stuff jalapeño from the appetizer menu. I would describe that as sushi without the rice (which was a good choice as I eat low carb) although it had fried portion so its not necessarily low carb- but delicious!

Good food, good prices, quick service and clean bathrooms. Very kid friendly and nice staff. Only gripe is I think the portions could be bigger, like their roll count and portion of fish relative to rice in their sushi rolls. Not terrible by any means and it's a great local offering.

I love Japanese food and the other day was one of those I didn't want to cook. Well I'm so glad I remember Tokyo cause their food is so delicious, their sushi is fresh, their menu has a huge variety of items for everyone taste buds and the price are outstanding! This is a hidden gen that needs to become a regular for many people in KC. The employees are friendly and you can feel the family atmosphere. The restaurant has a simple decoration but the lighting and design make it pretty good for a date night too! So get out of your comfort zone of your normal routine and head out to Tokyo in Belton! By the way did I mention is closes to the highway? Yes, so if you are just passing by, this is your spot! And yes there's space for your RV to park just across the street!

Bento box for lunch hit the spot. The service was quick and kind. I will be back whenever I want a quick sushi or hibachi lunch in the area!

We came here while visiting from out of state. The service was very good and so was the food. They don't cook the hibachi in front of you but they do serve hibachi from the kitchen. Also good price on their martinis!

This restaurant is a staple in my friends' rotation of get-together places! The service is incredible every time, and all of the servers are so nice and work hard. The menu has a lot of options to choose from, and it's nothing short of absolutely delicious. My favorites are the clear soup and yaki soba/udon, but I've also heard great things about their sushi. I tried this green tea ice cream once after mouth surgery, and it immediately cured all of my pain (I mean just look at all the spinkles on top)!

First of all, WHAT is in that liquid heaven they call salad dressing? Amaaaazing. I was expecting a regular ginger salad and when the creamy, watery dressing showed up on my table my tastebuds did a little happy dance. Anyway, enough about the dressing. I got the $9 lunch special with 2 rolls, Futo Maki and bagel roll. Both were delicious (not as delicious as the salad dressing, but still very good). I couldn't believe I got 2 rolls, a salad with dressing from the Gods, and a miso soup for less than $10 total. Service was also on point for a Friday lunch time. This is my new go-to sushi place. It reminds me of California sushi, which is saying something all the way here in good ol' Missouri. I'll definitely be back again and again. Side note: they don't bottle the dressing to sell. I asked.

My brother and I have been going here for years to eat. They always greet us very friendly and quickly. The entire experience they are always checking on everyone and tending to people's needs. I have never seen such care and respect at other places. The food has always been great and never a disappointment. Once they forgot to leave something off due to my allergies and they quickly fixed it. I would often hear others say great things about the food to them. I have read a couple of poor reviews and found them skeptical. Then I look at other reviews done by those posters and there tends to be a pattern of hate or comments at many places. One never knows unless you try it out. I recommend that everyone try this place just once and see for yourself own eyes.
