Tokyo Grill Hibachi Sushi

This was a cute little restaurant. Hints of Japanese culture throughout. There was only one server but he was quick & polite. It was funny because you heard him saying the same thing to everyone as they received their food or as they received their check. Only downside was because he had to move so quickly he was kind of walking away/on the run as he was speaking to you. The food was good. Nothing over the top I just have to brag about but tasty nonetheless. I do wish the veggies & shrimp were a little bigger in the dish I ordered. The sushi was my favorite part of the meal.

This place is so good! The portion sizes are well worth the price and the service was great! It can be hard finding a good sushi restaurant but if you have the time drop on by here and you won't regret it!

We ordered Tokyo Grill on DoorDash twice recently and the first time they forgot my karaage so l came back to try it again. The shrimp tempura was terrible and just seemed like out of the freezer, I surprisingly liked the tempura carrot and the onion was obviously delicious. However the sushi is top tier and the hibachi chicken is GREAT! I even loved the Kani Su which I wasnt expecting - most places use really fishy fake krab. We liked the dumplings and my husband said the Tiger Roll was the best piece of sushi hes ever had so now that we know what to order we'll be back!

Their sushi is top tier and they have excellent service. The ambiance is very chill and relaxing. I will never get sushi anywhere else.

When you walk in you have to wait to be seated. Once we were seated we ordered our drinks, ordered food, ect. I got a miso soup which was so good! It had small chunks of tofu, some green onions and seaweed. We ordered the spicy California roll which was pretty good! It had huge chunks of avocado but I didn't mind. The spicy tuna roll was delicious! Although I wish it was a tad spicier. The volcano roll was alright, it just tasted like cream cheese to me really, it had huge chunks of it. The crab topping it had was really good though! I asked for a side of jalapeño to have with my sushi. The "wasabi" wasn't that good but it did the job. My husband ordered the teriyaki value bowl and it was alright. The chicken tasted like teriyaki chicken would but the sauce on it wasn't all that great. The rice was just steamed rice. As soon as we were done our waiter/waitress handed us our bill fairly quickly which I loved. The waitress gave our daughter a balloon shaped as a flower as we were leaving. We will be returning for more sushi dates!

Right when you enter, you will have to wait to be seated. Looks about 20 tables/booth, combined. We waited about 5 mins before someone acknowledged us. Ordered our drinkers right away. However, ordering our appetizers & main course was a bit difficult. There were only 2 waiters running. It took an obnoxious amount of time to even have someone acknowledge us...again.We did have a female waiter come and ask if we were ready. To which we replied " yes "..but not coming back to grab our order for another 5 or so minutes. Lol. However, after ordering..the food came out insanely fast..I'd highly recommend ordering the Out of Control Roll. It is spectacular. What bums me out now..is not many sushi restaurants make fried ice creams, as desserts anymore. Total bummer Otherwise, when Tokyo Grill Hibachi is busy..prepare yourself for a longer than anticipated wait. With short staffing. Patience will be your best friend. Sushi is pretty good..so is it worth the wait?....I'm still on the fence about it.

Best sushi in blue springs, try the " volcano roll" taste fresh and service is very pleasant definitely worth returning on a regular.but can be pricey so watch out for a good cheap sushi get the Maki B ! 3 in one flavors! 9.0

Every single time I try to go here they say online they are open but then I go and they are randomly closed. Like literally every single time.

Went for my wife's birthday every dish we tried was delicious and well worth it. The staff was great they were checking on in frequently, tables were clean and the bathrooms were spotless.
