After nearly a full season of services from TLC Lawn Care, I want to give them a quick shout out for the great service they provide. From the office staff to the crews that provide the services, all have been great. A special thanks to Kim for always being so accommodating with scheduling and Cory for taking extra time and effort to ensure my sprinkler system works most effectively. Great job!

Worst customer experience I have had in recent memory. The service that was provided was expensive, ineffective and conducted by employees that don't know what they are doing and don't care about their customers. When I voiced my concerns with a phone call, I was treated rudely and with the same attitude. Do yourself a favor, use ANY other company in KC for a better experience!!!!

The guys that mow the yard are so rude! I have put up with it about 5-6 weeks and never have they been respectful, courteous or even pleasant! I can assure you there are plenty of people to mow grass. I won't feel like an inconvenience when I am a paying customer! Further, they have never called me back about trimming, nor doing my Hardscapes! Terrible company!!

I sent an email about wanting to cancel my service in late June and finally got a response from one of the owners a month and a half later saying that I apparently didn't cancel my service the correct way. They did 2 services after I sent my email and even forwarded them the email chain and still was unable to get a refund. So how they advertise on their website about being customer service oriented is apparently not the case. Here is a direct quote from their website.................."TLC Lawn Care, Inc. was founded with the consistent and unwavering principle of "customer service first". For over a quarter century, TLC has been a rock-solid company providing both residential and commercial property service. We are locally owned and operated and strive for perfection in all that we do. Today TLC provides all the services and maintenance needs to keep your property looking it's finest. We take pride in our work and provide the best service in the industry. Working together, we can personalize a lawn program to meet all your needs. We provide the experience, equipment, well trained staff and a commitment to deliver award-winning results; be it a single residence, commercial property or homeowners association. Since 1986, our goal remains 100% complete customer satisfaction." Not sure why a simple refund for services that I thought I was cancelling would be so hard. I work in customer service and know the importance of taking care of something so simple. I wasn't asking for anything to be free or discounted just because, I had requested my service be cancelled and then when it wasn't I then was just simply asking for a refund. And now I want other people to know that if you have their service make sure you jump through the correct hoops to get money back. Not saying they don't do good work, that's not what this complaint is about just the fact that they pride themselves on customer service but it wasn't good for me. I hope this reaches the proper people so that they know the process is broken.
