We found Chuck and his farm from Groupon originally even though he is located just miles from our house. I can not say enough good about this place! First off, Chuck the owner has been in the business of training people & horses for so long that his knowledge is endless. He is also very patient and thoughtful. Libby the trainer is so awesome! She has been amazing with my daughter. I always feel like she has safe and she loves the horses there. We plan to do her birthday party there as well. If you are considering trusting your children in their hands, do it! They truly are awesome!!

An earlier review was posted by whom I assume is a very nice person. However, here is the problem, she has never been more wrong in her life. She has made some very strong accusations implicating that this barn and the people running it are racist. That could not be farther from the truth. The people who run, teach and train at this barn are the least racist or judgmental I have ever known. Amazing how some people will search and search for something about which to complain, there by drawing attention to themselves. Well, you have my attention now sister, it is you who are the racist and your sensitivities are offensive to those of us who have a modicum of common sense. History is history and it can not be changed, altered or hidden and our children need to experience every piece of it so it will not be repeated. The history of the wonderful Saddlebred is deep and meaningful and should be celebrated in ALL of its glory and I am sure that was the point for the display of this literature. They don't have any high horses in their barn lady so please get down from yours.

I've been taking riding lessons with Libby and Boomer for the last couple months. I absolutely love it! Libby is patient and fun but she takes the lessons seriously and does not let me slack even for a moment! She provides constant instruction and feedback so that I improve with every visit. I am a 30 yr old returning rider who had a bad riding accident. Libby had such a great approach of keeping my lessons interesting and challenging but moving forward at a pace I felt comfortable with. They have lots of awesome horses for riders with different levels of experience. I got my lessons at a steal through Groupon but I would pay full price to keep coming here. The drive out is serene and the location is peaceful. Love this place!

Libby was great, but they had Confederate propaganda in the waiting room. It was so incredibly disheartening, especially since I am white and my son is black. I was horrified to see a pile of packets with confederate flags on every page that had been printed out and stapled together so that the kiddos can take them home with them. Not only was the confederate flag emblazoned on every page, but they contained information glorifying Robert E. Lee and his love for horses. That's like having packets to pass out about how much Hitler loved horses. We will most definitely never be going back there.
