Thomas J McNamara

Tommy McNamara did a fantastic job of capturing key moments of our wedding and reception. We had an outdoor wedding and reception and wanted more of a photo-journalism approach rather than a lot of fake, created posed photos. He captured real moments as they were happening and our photos look like art in the afternoon sun surrounded by trees and flowers. We had a 1960 Corvette that a friend loaned us for the day and Thomas got some great pictures of it and us with the car. Of course, we got great group shots of our families and wedding party also. My only regret was not hiring him for an additional hour to capture a bit more before the wedding started and possibly having a second shooter as some of our activities were spread out. Thomas got some teaser pics to us within 2-3 days, which is crazy fast! We are thrilled with our photos!!

Tommy came on time, and started taking pictures without any direction and made himself as inconspicuous as possible. Within a few hours, he sent us some pictures for the social media. He has an eye for creating the moment in an artistic way. Would recommend Thomas McNamara for all your events.

We are so happy that we chose Tommy to be our photographer on our wedding day! It was clear after our first meeting with him that he loves what he does. Our wedding was actually a surprise wedding, so guests thought they were at our engagement party. This required a lot of moving parts and special requests for what was being captured during the series of events that lead up to the reveal. Tommy was on board from the beginning and helped us figure out the perfect timeline to make it all work. Tommy is an easy going and friendly guy which made it easy to be comfortable taking pictures. We truly felt like we made a good friend by the end of the night. We have enjoyed all of our photos and cannot recommend him enough!
