Thirsty Palette

Such a fun date night idea. My boyfriend and I went the night before the Chiefs home opener and we painted Arrowhead stadium. It was a small class so it felt personable and the artist walked us through each step. She would even offer to help if we needed correcting. This place is not a BYOB but there is a pretty full bar with decent prices. You can bring your own snacks but there are pretzels and candies to munch on. I enjoyed this and so did my boyfriend, I saw a side of him I never knew! I highly recommend this.My only complaint was the class went about 20 minutes over. The breaks could have been shorter as the class was so small.

Received this as a gift - $70 for two people so I went with a friend to do dirty pour workshop! It was pretty fun and they gave us a good tutorial on how to do to the painting. We unfortunately had to leave the paintings at the store since they weren't dry..... biggest mistake!!! We've called, texted, and left voicemails since July (it's now November) to get the paintings back but they never are available and it got to the point where they said they would mail them, nothing has come through! I've texted and left 3 voicemails and now they don't even call me back because I think they know they just threw out or painted over our paintings by now. Very disappointed with the management here. Not worth losing $70 over this company and will mention to anyone considering to do wine and paint workshops in KC to never visit Thirsty Palette.

We came for a sunday class and did a Royals world series painting. Instructor was super nice and helpful. You had to reserve a spot in advance for your entire group online. They had a full bar and very reasonable drink prices. Soda and water was also available. Snacks were free, so that was nice.Overall clean facility and helpful staff. Would go again.

Such a fun evening! I have done a different place before and this one far beats it. The instructor was fun.... She took time to instruct in a humorous laid-back way. The other place I went to the person leading rushed & obviously wanted to be somewhere else. Another perk is the bar with a selection of beer, wine & cocktails and yummy snacks! My only complaint is that most of the cocktails were on the sweet side... I would love it if there were whiskey cocktails available! Nice touch as well were the cubbies so we had a place to put our stuff. Definitely will be planning another visit!

Went last night with a few girlfriends and had a great time! So much better than a noisy bar, and you get to make something so cool! The instructor/bartender was super helpful and sweet, and helped us a lot with our painting! We totally needed it! We had so much fun, we will be back for sure!

This place is a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and unique experience. Thumbs up!

My 10 year old niece and I attended class on January 12, 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructor, Carrie, was wonderful. We found Carrie to be talented, kind, funny and always willing to help the class. The class choices are delightfully varied. We plan to return and advise others to visit The Thirsty Palette. It was a bit hard to find, it is on the backside of the shopping area.
