The Vineyards at Pirtle Winery

Whenever we drive out to Weston, we HAVE to make a stop for wine slushes at Pirtle. They have a really good selection of wines, which helps everyone in your group find something they enjoy. They also offer tastings with a very knowledgeable staff, and picnic baskets full of bread, cheese, etc.This past time we went during the Weston Apple Fest, and they offered a caramel apple bourbon slush which was to die for!

This was an awesome brunch. After a mead tasting at the vineyard across the steer we stopped in to have a bite and bottle. The patio was covered and there was live music. The wait staff had great suggestions for pairing. The food was fresh. We will definitely be back.

Service left something to be desired. We visited on a Saturday evening while they had live music, and we came to hear the band. They were not very busy, yet it took about ten minutes for anyone to arrive to take our drink order.We then asked for wine glasses to pour the wine we purchased in their winery store across the street and they forgot about it. After another ten minutes of waiting for someone to take our order, I put an online order in for salads, and we waited 10 minutes for them. When the waitress brought the salads, we asked again for wine glasses, and this time she brought them. We didn't see anyone after that, so we paid online and left. Their salad was a nice average size and we were pleased with them. The menu is limited but looks worth a visit on a week day. Their winery shop across the street was great and the service on that side was fantastic. We were really shocked that it seemed like they had quite a few servers, but no one visiting the patio more than once every ten minutes.
